Well, I’m now being invaded daily with spam crap. In both email and in the chat box. Not only that, I’ve encountered obvious bot groups with no easy way to report them. I may have to rescind my ‘fanboi’ statement here. It’s really getting really bad.

Well, I’ve encountered several missing VO’s and I suspect I’ll miss many more. I’ll SS the dialog if that’s what will help. I am playing a Human Ranger. Missing dialog from just prior to defending the Queen onwards to the level just less than the level 39 dialog. Must be a common thread there.

In every MMO that I’ve played in the last 10 years, the slime of society has invaded and ruined game after game for me by sending me spam in tells, mails, and even in friend invites. I can’t express my disgust, my hate, more vehemently.

That ArenaNet is taking to this threat as seriously as they have is profoundly appreciated by myself and I’m sure by many others. I’ve not had a single instance of a spam mail or a gold seller since I started playing. I know this will probably change but this is the first MMO where I feel that the people behind it take that threat very seriously. Other companies (Blizzard) would do well to take note of the steps taken to provide such an environment.

So, to those that are sweating over the account hacking problems and doing what they can to stop it, thank you.

I know I shouldn’t use the way point teleports all the time because it costs money, but since I do, it would be handy to have the amount of coinage I currently have when I open up the map, or perhaps show it when I click on a way point and it tells me how much it will cost to get there.
