I finished all but 2-3 achieves within a couple of days of the tournament starting, transferred in the middle of week 2, when I realized that most of the guilds/commanders that I like had left. Despite participating daily, doubling my overall wvw rank, and completing far more events than would have been feasible during my stay with my first server, I was never able to change my association. Now watching the issues with granting awards, I’m inclined to believe that there’s a bug.

Kind of hoping for a gem refund, since I find that blog post describing association to be misleading.

Yeah, I’ve had the same issue. Changed servers just short of a week and a half into the tournament following the departure of several guilds. I’ve participated in WvW daily since then, but I am still associated with the first world. Had a similar experience with support, too. Everyone was quick to respond, but I’m not sure I communicated my concerns clearly enough for support to address them.

I, too, would be interested in hearing if others have managed to change association and what they think triggered it.

Been having similar issues that have rendered the game unplayable. Additionally, when I’m lucky enough to get in, I often fall victim to skill (and evidently movement) lag that kills me and makes it only possible to wp after logging out and back in. After the fifth time or so, this has gotten really old. I do not enjoy being punished (WP costs) for being unable to fight back (despite my best efforts).

Really enjoyed the duels going on at Obsidian Sanctum just now. I was particularly taken with this one skilled EB elementalist who seemed to start the whole event.

Not sure if the participants read this thread, but I really enjoyed watching all of you guys in action. If any of you do much PVE, I’d love to guest on either of your servers to see you kick butt again.
