Hello, if any dev could help me out with some insight to this question. I know we aren’t getting build templates any time soon. I have 2 sets of legendary armor, and about to finish my third. I play a variety of characters and swap often.
Swapping my legendary gear onto my char and then having to click through every piece of gear takes a while. Is there any chance that in the future we might get maybe some sort of “Right Click To Choose All Stats” option? Thanks in advance for the answers.
I usually grab that first easy to access one, and have yet to get it. I’ve stayed alive through the entire thing everytime. I guess it’s just RNG. I get it, fine RNG all you want, but RNG + Time gate? Not cool at all.
I’ve been doing the new raid since it released. I have yet to get this item while everyone in my guild and friends have it. I’ve looted all three chests every single time and no drop. I was convinced maybe something was bugged in my account, I emailed support and they basically said tough luck that they’ll not help me with it. Maybe I am just bitter about it, I’m not sure. It’s fairly annoying I’ve got my 100 Crystalline Ingots, just waiting so I can do my heart adventures. It doesn’t seem like it will ever drop for me.
I agree, I am in the same position. Have done the new wing since it’s release yet still have not gotten this item, it being my last one it’s extremely frustrating, all my guildies and friends have it, just not me. RNG is fine, Time Gates, yeah fine too but annoying. Both together? No thank you. I even emailed support about it, got told to basically shove off and there will be less time gated + RNG in the future. THANKS!
So apparently unbound is supposed to do what it’s name suggest. Be unbound on your back and move around. However, I can’t see it moving. Others around me can. My graphics are set to max, still just stays stiff as cardboard. Here is a video of what it is supposed to look like.
I did this same thing, logged on today. Couldn’t remember if I had gotten my reward and I accepted it and then did my pvp daily as normal. That’d suck to get banned for that. I think I got 2 pvp potions and like 2 tomes of knowledge from my daily.
So tired of seeing these complaint posts. Simple if you don’t like the direction they’re going don’t buy it. I for one think the changes are brilliant and have gotten 3 years of absolute enjoyment out of Guild Wars 2. Furthermore I had no problem giving 50 bucks for HoT, and for gems over the 3 years. They have put out so much regular free content and updates. It’s going going to get better, but if you want to jump ship over it go ahead, no one is stopping you.
I’d love to get a developers feedback about this issue. I know Anet is all for build diversity, but not being able to change runes along with your stats seems somewhat pointless to me.
That would be amazing. I’d buy that. Would still be a bit tedious to use often rather than just swapping runes out with a small menu perhaps. It’d still work however. Also a side not I really don’t think that would impact the rune and sigil market greatly considering the amount of gold/time put in to get it will most likely be steep.
I love the idea of stat swapping for legendary armor. My question is what if you are running a DPS spec say, runes of the Scholar and Berserker armor stats, and you feel like swapping to a Healing spec. Using Dwayna runes and Cleric stats. Will we have to buy the runes each time and replace, or buy the ridiculously expensive upgrade extractor everytime we wish to change stats?
So, the other day I was talking with some friends about gold. I have been playing since the betas and release and have acquired a lot through lucky pre drops and investments. Anyway they were curious to know how much the vault would hold, I didn’t know myself I have two guilds solely for storage and such so I decided to just put as much as I could. Big mistake, I learned you can only withdraw 500g per week. So most of my money is now in my guild banks for almost 7 weeks. Grand. I even contacted support about it and their response was this.

I find that ridiculous. I mean why is there even a limit on the guild vault?
Go to the Deadend Waypoint in Bloodtide Coast, which is on Stormbluff Isle. It should pop up then and give you the rewards. You may have to walk inside the cave a little bit also.
On Sea Of Sorrows, there is an event there that has been bugged for around 3 days now. Can’t complete any events. It’s just an endless horde of enemies. Which seems to excite some players but is rather annoying to me. I want to be able to finish the events and gain some karma and such, this has kept me from really even spending any time in Cursed Shore due to players not doing anything but this, I mean is it even ok to kill those enemies, or would that be considered some kind of exploit? Any updates on when this may be fixed?
I am going for a legendary, and of course am an in serious need of ectos. My thoughts on doing this is crafting rares and just salvaging them, by farming some of the t5 materials rather than buy. Now the whole snowflake fiasco has gotten me a little shaky, I mean so many got banned over doing the same thing, salvaging rares and all that. I mean is this some kinda bannable offense now or what? Just curious of the consensus before I do this.
It was fine on sea of sorrows until the patch today, now there is just endless hordes of enemies there. So no events can be actually completed which kinda sucks. Everyone is just there farming and not doing other events in the area. Which I really need, for karma. =(
Ok so, went to a friends house and was gonna play. Got on, went to authenticate it from my phone, google authenticator crashed on my device. Ok, restarted my phone and all that stuff the usual fixer crap. Didn’t work, uninstalled the app and reinstalled. Codes gone. So now I’ve got no way to play anywhere else but my home, and no way to unlink the authenticator. Even account recovery fails. Trying unlink the authenticator, sits there and just loads for a minute and then says error contact support. Which I have done, but they are taking forever to get back to me. Such a pain for added security.
Well, I have been testing around with it just a bit ago and have a solution. It does it a lot in cursed. So, decided to turn all my graphics down. Worked. Systematically turned things back on and have found that it’s the shadows that are doing it. Try turning your shadows to low and see if that helps. I have no idea why this happens, my computer is way more than ample to play the game. I know that’s not it. As I said earlier it only happened after a recent patch so, something somewhere is haywire.
As the post title says, it will crash and then ask me to repair and if I don’t it’ll continually crash. I’ll repair then it’ll be fine for a while then eventually do it again and I’ve got to repair again. Getting sort of ridiculous and the thing is, it never happened until the most recent patch.
Guys, it’s not a guaranteed thing. You should have known that before you did it. No one made you buy the chests. So stop giving Anet any kind of flak about it. You could have just bought it from the trading post.
@Zab Yes it was the MainCli.cpp crash for me, that’s all it has been. Before it would do it randomly, but today it would crash everytime I’d get to the character select screen. Once I moved it to my normal HDD rather than the SDD the problems stopped for whatever reason.
Same thing happening to me since the September 25th patch. It has never, ever done this in the past.
Update: Game has been somewhat playable since the patch, but as I was making this post I’ve tried to log in and every log in attempt, when at the character screen I’m met with a immediate crash.
Update 2: I moved the entire Guild Wars 2 folder to my HDD from my SDD and I haven’t had a single crash.
Well let me make it more clear, these guys were auto-attacking just standing there, every one of them. I can only surmise they’re bots with some sort of auto key going on. I was attempting to make A-Net aware of the area there so they could have a team go in and do something about it, or whatever they need to do. I asked around and apparently they’ve been there for days.
Update: Just went and checked the area, and most of them are still there. Infinitely auto-attacking.
No real way to report these guys all at once or anything, but there is just a crowd of people standing there auto attacking waiting for the event “The Battle Of Fort Salma”. I’ve included some screenshots of the said botters. Hopefully something can be done about this, it totally ruins the fun for anyone else intending to do the event normally.
