The reason people are openning multiple threads is because you are not listening to them. Quit complaining and get on with getting people into the game.

My ticket was raised on Sep 4th with nothing but the “Lance” email “fix” that doesn’t bloody work. That’s really not good enough.

Hire some people and look at your security, this whole situation could have been made much easier with a little investment into better security measures. Not saying we as customers were faultless but it’s costing you a hell of a lot more in time and money and loss of good faith, that it would have been to develop a mobile authenticator or something.

Eventually after 4 days they got back to me on my hacked account. Sent me a link to recover my account. But I get an Error contact Support (I LOL’d at the thought of that).

Do I really have to wait another 4 days for someone to get back to me again ???

I got hacked on Tuesday and I believe though that it was probably due to bad practice on my behalf, I was using the same email and password I had used for Rift, that was the first game I was ever hacked in. They hackers are probably using the same list they got there and finding foolish people like me who didn’t change.

Having said that, I think more could be done by arenanet and in fact all MMO developers, to secure up things. Authenticators should be standard, accessing the ability to change key aspects of an account such as the email address too should be tightened up.

My main account was hacked on Tuesday, fortunately I have a second account in my household, which is what i’m using to type this message.

I raised a ticket immediately, but I have received nothing from Areananet other than the automated response.

This is ridiculous, the hackers changed the email address on the account, so I can not log in to it at all.

I understand that I’m not the only person in need of support here, but these hacking incidents happen a lot after the first week or two of a new game, you guys should have been prepared for it and have the process and staff in place to meet the demand.
