Easy on the aggression. What I meant is the server staying active because I want to commit to it. So, if I say join YB and they become tier 3, I’d like to hope they’d stay active, but chances are they won’t. As a result, I have to choose a group that wins a lot.
Plus, you make it sound as if what I’m doing is WRONG, when in reality, all I want to do is join a server that is very active in WvW and isn’t just always getting crushed all of the time. You make it sound like that’s a sin. Is it wrong to enjoy WvW and want a server that is active and good at it?
The reason I listed those three is because those are the servers everyone talks about when it comes to WvW.
If I could stay on my server and have a decent time in WvW I would, believe me, but there’s literally no-one that does WvW if not on green side. On green they poke their heads out and do well, but on any other side literally no one plays.

That isn’t what I want. I want a server that is good, but doesn’t get smashed. Also because the number one server is full.
I’m fine with fighting for points and struggling and stuff, just right now on Ehmry there’s basically zero WvW power. Lucky to even have a person tagged up.

I’ve just recently got into the game and I’m looking for a server to play on that is fun, and is always active and dominant in WvW/EotM. I currently play on Ehmry Bay, but they’re not quite what I’m looking for. I’ve heard Yak is good, but then there’s Fort Aspenwood and lastly Sea of Sorrows.
So, I have to choose between those three. NOW, I don’t want arguments about which is better. I want pros and cons if possible, with these parameters in mind:
- I want it to be a server that will likely stay active through thick and thin. Usually, this means able to keep their current tier or move up.
- EotM is what I’m mostly focusing on.
- I want to be actively controlling or fighting for control in close battles in EotM. Meaning, I’m not into bunkering up or just getting ran over by a superior army.
So with all that in mind, please let me know what I should decide, but please don’t argue like "so and so sucks because they do _ and _. That honestly won’t help me decide.
