Showing Posts For Agendath.4032:
Hello,
I’m looking for a team of experienced, highly motivated and ambitious players who are in this for the long term (looking forward to seasons 3/4).
I started playing PVP more competitively last September and have played some 1200 games since then, of which nearly 900 on Necromancer/Reaper.
Kind regards,
Elyr
There’s some good advice here. Your problems arise mostly from a lack of map awareness. Also, try to change your camera zoom more often and look around more.
I think you have a certain mastery of your class, which is good. However, you need to stop running backwards. Unbind the key for all I care.
Don’t stop recording games: reviewing your own games and practising self-assessment will definitely help you learn.
Hello there,
We’re currently trying to encourage fixed teamplay to climb the ranks of the guild challenger league. We’re looking for more members to group together and try to get as high as possible.
See you ingame!
This looks very promising!
Hello, my team is currently looking for more players.
If you’re on EU, send me a mail ingame.
Hello,
We’re a EU based sPVP team looking for more active members to start practise for season 2 and non-professional tournaments. We’re usually online at around 20.00 GMT+1(CET). You are not expected to be there every night, but as often as possible. Fixed days could be determined.
Experience and a relative skill level is required, but more important is perhaps the will to learn and become better. Teamspeak is a must.
Currently we have 3 members: ranger, necro and mesmer. Classes that complement these would be prefered, but I’m sure we could work things out anyway.
If interested, send an ingame mail with your experience and motivation to Agendath.4032.
Kind regards,
Elyr
PS: If you’re just looking for a friendly PVP guild to have some casual group play, we can provide that too. Don’t be afraid to whisper or mail me.
I had first posted this in the bugs-section, but it’s probably better placed under suggestions.
I don’t know if this issue has been reported yet, but I couldn’t find anything by doing a forum search. It would actually surprise me if it hasn’t, because this problem is very old. In any case, it has yet to be fixed.
The following is a list of issues regarding the categories of the trading post:
Category armor:
- No option for back items. In fact, back items cannot be found through search refinement.
(- Maybe add distinction light – medium – heavy armor?, it would be helpful)
Category consumable:
- subcategory food only shows drinks.
- subcategories generic, transmutation and unlock are empty.
- Maybe it could be possible to make a subcategory “dye”?
Category gathering:
- Comes up empty. Gathered materials can be found in the “crafting material” category.
Category gizmo:
- A list of 19 items that could easily be put in the category “consumables”.
Subcategory salvage: Empty category, all 19 items are in subcategory default.
Category tool:
- empty
Category trophy:
- This category also includes salvage materials. Perchance these could be moved to a new (sub)category “salvage materials”?
Category upgrade component:
- No subcategory for universal upgrades
- No subcategory for trinkets.
- Subcategory weapon : only shows trinket upgrades and “rune of life” (which is an armor upgrade)
I do not know if this list is exhaustive, but it comprises all issues I have found.
Thank you for reading this.
Currently, traveling to Lion’s Arch from any area does not cost silver, if a player is willing to go through three loading screens. (going to a PvP/WvW area, taking a portal to LA and taking a free waypoint to where they need to be in the city)
It does not contribute to a healthy gameplay that a player can save some money by going through a series of loading screens.
Perhaps it would make more sense to make traveling to LA free altogether or to make the portals in the PvP/WvW areas paid.
