Maybe this means I’m not crazy. When I click on any of the tabs in the gem store nothing changes.
Elementalist is hard to play.
Warrior is easy to play.
Bad Player = Bad at elementalist, Good at warrior
Good Player = Good at elementalist, Good at warrior

I love getting hit with Moa Bird. I do more damage.
Thanks for replying. I thought I might just be crazy
I can literally just sit there and miss 20 times in a row, then start moving again and hit every time, then stop moving and miss all attacks again.
Mist form also damages your armor from what I can tell. The only useful thing we have in downed state takes forever to be ready and costs us money.
Sometimes when I fight lightning whip will miss every time if I stand still but hit every time when I move. Not just against players or npcs but stationary objects like a turret. Anyone else have this problem?
I found this highly amusing. Thanks OP.
Pressing the dodge button without pressing a direction makes you roll backwards.

I changed to this specifically for gw2. At first it was really awkward. Now, I have zero problems. I really recommend it. Also, don’t forget that you can move forward by holding down both mouse buttons. This will free up your left hand to push anything you want. I got used to switching between my left hand and right hand to move forward depending on whether I needed to click on something or push a button. It is easy now.
I also had fun using a keybind setup that was difficult for me at first. Maybe that’s just me though
Thanxs. Clicking on nothingness (random screen) when facing away from target will cancel target selection and let you burst away as long a auto-targeting is off.
That works. I also have a button bound to target nearest ally which also works. I find it more reliable.

This may not help everyone, but it worked for me. Long story short my PCI-E video card was running at x1 instead of x16. There are lot of reasons this could happen. Here is an article that explains some of them.

For me, I had to reseat my video card about three or four times. Surprisingly, it started working correctly after the last time. I read that this was the case for a lot of people. An easy way to tell if you have this problem is to download GPU-Z or CPU-Z to see if your video card switches to x16 when the game is running. In some cases it is just a power saver setting that prevents it.
I’d say this may be your problem if you had the same symptoms as me. Most notably changing graphics setting from max to min had no affect on frame rate. Now I can run on max and get over 100 FPS at times.
Hope this helps someone.

My problem and configuration are almost identical to TwoSwords, so I’ll post mine here too. I would think that getting the same fps basically at max settings and min settings should be a clue about what is happening.
