I bought the game yesterday as well, it’s now been downloading for almost 31 hours. Still have 37,500 files to go. At current speed that seems to mean about another 2-3 hours.
Much as I don’t like to complain… Seriously?
I have followed all advice. All security software and firewalls deactivated, run as admin, not a problem with my end as every other internet based application is runnning just fine. I get about 10-20 seconds of downloading at ~500kb/s and then tapers off to a connection error where it stays for about a minute. Rinse, repeat. To say that this is frustrating is an understatement. The rave reviews about this game are awesome, but I’m quickly losing patience with the download.
Simply put, the game had better be amazing.
