This post is not really any different than many of the others in this thread, I am going to speak my mind anyway. So let this wall of text be lost amongst the other walls of text.
I love rangers, I love pets. In Guild Wars 1 my best memories are running around in GvG and TA as an RaO ranger. Later I took to using Grapple and Bestial Mauling to daze monks in RA while sitting at 16 BM. Interrupt ranger in a balanced team composition will win nine times out of ten, but I have never been bothered by playing a sub-optimal build as long as it was fun. I liken playing as a Beastmaster (or some other sub-optimal setup) to playing with Superblocks; they work and are fun but are not as good as Legos. Sadly as rangers we get to play with some broken Superblocks. It was said, “There are some bugs being fixed and quality of life improvements coming in the next patch, as well as some other significant ranger improvements. I would Literally tell you but I think it would be considered a bit of a spoiler”.
Jon, you were going to fix our Superblocks. Not only fix our Superblocks, but maybe give us a bunch of new Legos. When I am told I will finally get to play with everybody else and their toys I get excited. Not giving them to me after you imply you will is mean.
Yes, I have spent a post tongue-in cheek talking about Legos to point out the silliness present in some of the QQing. That said with this patch I really do feel a bit like a hurt kid myself. Oh well, you don’t always get what you want in life. I’ll add my suggested fixes to one of the many threads and move on. I may not play as much (finals and papers in the next month anyway). I’ll still be running my Beastmastery builds. Also,
Please don’t make us wait till Christmas for our Superblocks Mr. Peters!
