Guild Wars 2

My game keeps losing connection/lagging when ever I enter my human mesmer personal story. It lags really bad then eventually disconects making it impossible to progress my game. It effects no other part of the game or any other characters. I have tried logging in to my mesmer on a friends pc and they dont have these issues which leads me to believe its something local on my PC but I have no idea what…..any help would be greatly appretiated.

Im currently on the Triskell Quay story quest for the mesmer (24), though it will not start, when it loads me into the area i have to speak to hiroki, when i press f to speak it takes about 10 seconds to respond, then goes to a mini cutscene before it cuts back to my character with a video tape above his head, i cannot move for about 2 min then it takes me into a cutscene conversation with hiroki, when this ends it takes me back to my character again with a video symbol above my head where it will eventually timeout.

I have tried restarting/rebooting pc etc. It is only this char that it effects!!!!

Any help??? as i m really enjoying my mesmer!!!
