Guild Tax – 5% of coin looted from guild members get’s deposited into guild bank.

Great for guilds to use the funds to purchase influence in order to provide their members boosts and missions.

Good idea, that would be very useful in many ways.

Hello Guild Wars 2 Forum Community!

I Love this game, and have played it since Beta.
Anet you have done an amazing job with the game play, and dynamic events.
However there are as always some improvements that could be made in certain areas of the game, especially when it comes to Guild Improvements.

Hope these Suggested Features and Bugs Help.

Guild Window/Guild Suggestions: A lot of improvements needed in this section:
• Need more Rank Icons

• More Guild Upgrades

• Guild Halls

• Guild Capes

• More Guild Skins: Example: Guild Greatsword

• Guild Alliances: Alliance Chat, Influence Pool donation for Guild Hall

• If a Guild has enough influence to buy their own then they can have the ability to give permission for another Guild to enter their Guild Hall.

• Guild Permissions: This needs to be divided up more

Admin Lower Ranks (Invite, Promote, Demote, and Kick): Each should be their own permission.

• A Player should not be able to promote another Player up to his Guild Rank, unless it’s the Owner/Leader of the Guild.

Deep Cave should be a separate permission from treasure trove. This would allow more Guild uses and rank individuality.

• Need more room to write on the Message of the Day.

The ability to see how long a player has been offline for: (minutes, hours, days, months). Would help with knowing who is active and not active in larger guilds.

World Improvement Suggestions:

World Needs to be easier to navigate for low levels (new players):

Hearts should have a yellow circle around the area they can be completed in, since hearts are yellow lined (unfilled) or yellow filled. Occurs when you are close to the Heart, like events, so it is not annoying, and when you have not completed the heart yet.

• Events should be like they are, orange circles showing where the event is taking place.

  • However, like scrolling over a heart to see the progress you have made on it*, when in the same zone as the event, you should be able to scroll over it, and see the details. Such as (Time, Objective, Completion) so you know how long you have, and if it’s worth heading over there or in general what is going on.

Bugs: Some random bugs I still encounter:

When a Warrior casts Battle Standard on a downed ally, half the time it does not rally them instead it just gets them to 75% health or 99% health and they are still down. Seems to be if an enemy hits them at the same time that the banner drops it glitches. This has been happening since release.

When you start a skills that uses bar, such as Hundred Blades, and you get knocked back, when you stand up from the knock back you will continue your hundred blades. I don’t understand why this occurs or why you would want this to occur. It should just go on cool down or partial cool down when you are knocked back.

In world, character will be stuck standing still, have to free with skills (whirlwind with warrior)

• Very Popular Events that are glitched like Maw or Temple of Balthazar, when glitched can last a week for the new build/update to be fixed. More New Builds need to take place or have an automatic Event unglitching system, like after x minutes reset to first stage.

• Underwater NPC Reset and runs back to you in combat. If you’re a ranger you or your pet health does not regenerate. Obviously the NPC was out of combat to regenerate, how is the player not? The player should be placed automatically out of combat when all monsters are fleeing and regenerating, not at their starting spawn point like it seems to be.

• Some Events like Temple Of Balth at Brassbum Torch Northern Invasion, has 4 to 5 invincible NPCS, why do you need Invincible NPCS? MMOs are player driven. Invincible NPCS only lead to glitches. These Invincible NPCS need to be removed from the game, you can already revive NPCs an infinite number of times, that’s a better way of having them be “Invincible”, and still maintain player driven MMO.

Whisper Glitches: when whispering to someone in the Guild or Contacts. Doesn’t whisper then 2 to 5 minutes later the whisper box to the player pops up when you are doing something else and makes it the selected action. Only way to get it to whisper is completely restarting client.

Thanks for Reading. Sorry it was long but I found it all useful suggestions that may help.

These are some of my ideas that I have thought of over the last five months of playing Guild Wars 2.

Really like the new improvements on Jan. 28 and looking forward to Guild Missions!

Keep up the Amazing Work Anet, Best MMO Ever!

No QQ, Rants or unneeded useless Comments.

Anet you have done an amazing job with the game play, and dynamic events.
However there are as always some improvements that could be made in certain areas of the game, especially when it comes to User Friendly Improvements.

Hope these Suggested Features Help.

Player Use Suggested Features that could be added:

Be able to deposit an item from player inventory to Guild bank and stack them, without having to withdraw the item from guild bank and stack them in player’s inventory first.

Guild Kick Player Confirmation Message! Many times with the right click list options “Kick player from Guild” is right below Invite Player to Party or some other useful and frequently used line. It should be at the very bottom of the options and also ask for Confirmation. Too many accidental kicks happen, which leads to unneeded drama.

• When you remove a player’s invitation to the Guild, it should not say “Player1” kicked “Player2” from the Guild. It would be more appropriate if it said “Player1” removed “Player2” invite to the Guild. Since then you would know, the Player was never really in the Guild. When a Player declines an invite a similar message could appear instead of saying Player has left the guild.

• When you click AFK, and then when you come back and move, it should take off the AFK and say you are no longer AFK. You should also automatically go AFK after 5 minutes of inactivity on the screen.

• If you whisper someone who is AFK, it should notify you that the player is AFK.

A player should be able to queue up a character for WvW @ “Player Name”, while playing an alt. When the Queue is ready, it could say: WvW is ready, Would you like to enter WvW with “Player Name” now? And it could auto switch your characters for you in the loading screen to WvW.

This will inspire/motivate players to play through maps & level new classes which is something Anet has mentioned they wanted and have been trying to motivate players to do over the past few months. This would also help balance servers which are only WvW, since they have long queues, they can progress more with their alts and participate in more PvE activities while they wait.

Trading Post: Being able to choose which item you want to buy off the trading post, not being forced to buy the lowest item is needed. This will somewhat prevent players from doing 1c undercuts, since players can choose to ignore that one and buy the item above it that they undercut by 1c. Players will need to make a better bargain otherwise players may just buy the one above if they only cut by a copper since a lot of players look down on this. Again more power to the Players is what is needed, less limitations!

Town Clothes! More Player Town Clothes that NPC wear, it’s already in the game, and it would provide Anet money for little work. I think this would help players and Anet.

More Stable Client, Many Guild Members and I have had numerous problems and client crashes since the release of the game. Client seems a lot more stable after the Jan. 28 update.

Should be able to target yourself with the T to assist function so when you get downed other players will know that you need help. It would be a lot faster than typing: I need help I am downed over here right behind you.

Should be able to Hot Key items such as Spy Kit and other useful items, mystic conduit, unbreakable bell, etc.
Should be able to add additional bars for items on the screen if you want to your interface. More bars above your skill bar, or on the side of the screen, etc. This would help improve game play, and add a way to access the item instead of just reducing your inventory size and having to click on the item from there. It would make it easy to access. Many other MMOs do this.
• When your client crashes during an Event, and then log back in and the event ends either before logging in or right as you spawn; you should still get the credit that you contributed to the Event. Player should only be able to receive credit for event if they log in within 5 min after being disconnected to receive credit or some amount of time so it is only for disconnects.
Dueling! This needs to occur in the near future. Either Open World dueling or place based like a Battle Pit, where other players may spectate.
