Um, good point. Its a left over from when I had 25 points in the Arms tree, to get the bonus from Attack of Opportunity as long as possible. I appreciate its not much use now and I need to switch it out…
Unsuspecting Foe doesn’t really do anything for me, I crit enough already, so I guess Quickness is the way to go, which could certainly help land those slow hammer skills – but I need to test it to see if procs enough to make it worthwhile.
As for the condition problem – Any suggestions? All I can think is dropping the Signet of Fury for Shout it Off! without drastically changing the build (or maybe use the Sigil of Purity?)…Your right though, I do really struggle facing off against condition builds, so something needs to change.
Thanks for the feedback.
Yea, not sure why it isn’t working… but anyway, as I mentioned, you could just copy and paste the link into your browser to view the build….
Anyway, I’ve recreated the build on an alternative site although the stats are not entirely accurate…

Hi,
I’m fairly new to GW2 PvP (I’ve just hit glory rank 10 :P), but I’ve been having a lot of fun playing a warrior. Initially, I went GS and tried the HB combo, which was fun… occasionally… IF I managed to pull it off. Since, I have been trying to find a build that’s both effective and suits my play style, eventually coming up with this:
“Control/Crit Hammer Build”
http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fIEQNAS3ZjgOxuxQ+OMxBA0DryirjCqSSpwu6A;TsAg0CnoqxUjoGbNuak1syYkxuAA
(If clicking the link doesn’t work, copy and paste it into your browser)
Initially with this build I tried hammer + mace/mace to maximise my CC, also adding Bull’s Rush and Stomp to my utilities to increase this further. I found I really struggled with CC, immobilises especially, and lack of mobility all round. So I tweaked my build to include Mobile Strikes, Last Stand and Balanced Stance. With just Earthshaker and Bull’s Rush breaking immobilises, and my lack of mobility still being an issue something had to change. I switched out my MH mace for an axe for some decent direct damage, which I thought would suit my traits/gear better than a sword (which would of been nice with Savage Leap on CD every 8 sec – a sweet gap closer, escape tool, and immobilise breaker with my traits…), with the added bonus Eviscerate also breaks immobilise with traits. I also love being able to stack 8 vulnerability at the start of the fight, and being able to reapply that every 15 seconds. Oh, and the ranged cripple helps with my mobility issue. Signet of Fury is just there to give me full adrenaline, you can take it or leave it. Its nice opening with a full Earthshaker, or ending with Earthshaker, switching weapons, popping the Signet of Fury and instantly Eviscerate for maximum damage. If I decide to drop the signet, I will probably slot Shake It Off! or For Great Justice! instead. Bull’s Rush is a long CD compared to Bolas, but I feel I need the gap closer, and an additional immobilise breaker is great.
My ideal combo would be something like: Earthshaker -> Backbreaker -> Hammer Shock -> Staggering Blow -> Switch Weapons -> Tremor -> Crushing Blow -> Bull’s Rush -> Cyclone Axe -> Eviscerate -> Switch Weapons -> Signet of Fury -> Earthshaker
Of course, it never works out like this in reality!
TDLR: Im a noob, here is my build, some constructive feedback would be welcomed.
Thanks!

So no one ever has any problems turning their character using their RMB….?
Its driving me up the wall, and even though i have not had any responses to this particular thread, a quick google search will show there are plenty of other people experiencing this bug.
This on top of the input lag, negative acceleration, camera getting stuck on scenery, smoothing, lock ups, inertia/easing and a narrow FoV, is a game breaker for me and i wont be playing again until this problem is resolved. (Its too frustrating trying to pvp only to lose control of your character in the middle of a fight and die because of it… )
Hopefully will be back soon..

Hi,
Last two of days ive been experiencing issues controlling my character…
I use my right mouse button to change direction, while using keyboard keys to strafe and occasionally move forward, if im travelling in a straight line. I imagine this is the same for the vast majority of players on GW2.
What ive noticed, is that if my cursor moves over the hit box of any object/character i can interact with, i stop being able to control which direction my character is facing using this button – in fact, i need to find a ‘clear’ piece of screen to move my cursor to, to re-press my mouse right button, to be able to control my character’s direction again. Its like my mouse right button, prioritises interaction, and defaults to this, whenever it passes over an object i can interact with. EDIT: Its not as consistent as i first thought after more messing about.. but still sometimes i lose control over my character while using the right mouse button and need to find some clear screen to reapply the right mouse button.
I barely notice this when i am out in the wilderness, but around town, where there are a lot of npc’s, players and things to interact with, it can become a real nuisance. Its especially annoying in PvP – generally player targets are changing direction frequently, so my mouse button is continuously pressed, and quite often you’ll be surrounded by players leaving little ‘clear’ screen space.
Is this something anyone else is experiencing? Or maybe its my own setup….?
Thanks!
