I never experienced lag in this game until Rising Flames released. Beginning on that day, i’ve experienced a lot of lag. Usually, it’s a lag of about 30 seconds +/-. More infrequently, it’s 1-5 seconds long. At first, i only noticed it in Ember Bay, but after a few days, i started getting it throughout the whole world. If i’m with my guild when it happens, i’ll ask them if any of them have it. Some have said they’ve had the short lags as well, but no one else has mentioned the long lags.

I’m working on the Fashion Achievement The Emperor’s New Clothes, which requires soulbinding 90 pieces of unique cultural armor. I’m at 66/90.

Does the character buying the armor have to be the right class and level to be able to wear the armor for the armor to count toward the achievement?

Example: I took my level 22 Asura mesmer and bought the tier 1 and 2 light armors, the skins of which were still locked. They became soulbound and the skins are unlocked, but they don’t seem to have increased the total for the achievement. The level requirement to wear tier 1 is 35 and tier 2 is 60.

According to various players and my own experience, the NPC appears to never leave Frostgorge Sound.

I have the same issue: Gem Store asks me to log in. Logging in doesn’t help. It asks me to log in again.

She doesn’t start the event, though. She’s just a “herald” character, an NPC who calls your attention to an event already in-progress elsewhere.

Ah, i see. Does it ever end if no one engages with it or does it stay active indefinitely if left alone?

Before LW S3 launched, Scholar Geneeve would deliver her line “You look like you could handle some drakes” what seemed like every time one entered the waypoint. When S3 launched last week, that behavior seemed to be removed. I never heard her say that line for a week. Now, i find that she says the line 1/3 to 1/2 the time someone enters the area.

It was really, really nice having a break from her saying that line, especially since that area is such a heavily travelled one due to farming. For me, it was one of the best QoL improvements in the patch.

I’m wondering if you would consider removing that line and adding an orange star icon over her head to denote that she has an event we can start. Hearing her say that at least once per character when i’m running all my toons through there one after another, has become very grating.

[playfully]I went to say hi to my bony friends the other day and they were gone. I was dumbstruck. Why oh why did they have to go?

<sigh> It’s so sad. That was one of my favorite things in Gilded Hollow – a secret treasure that i will always treasure. I will miss those scurvied piles of seadog bones for the rest of my days there. I could build an altar to them where they used to live (if the game would let me place something on the floor there <shakes fist at Anet>). “Never forget the pirate skellies!”

Rest in peace wherever data goes when it’s deleted and the hard drive space is reclaimed.

Perhaps we should start a petition to bring them back.

I want to change which credit card i use in the Trading Post, but can’t seem to find a way in game or a place in the My Account section of the website to do it. Is it possible?

I see the BLTC sells an upgrade from Standard to Deluxe, but i’m not seeing a way to upgrade Standard to Ultimate. Does anyone know if there is one?

Being able to only see the downed skills while i’m downed and fighting for my life doesn’t give me any opportunity to read and memorize what they do. I’ve been playing GW2 on and off for 2 years and i still don’t know what skills 2 and 3 do on any of my characters. It was over a year before i even knew about Bandage.

In wanting to help make learning the downed skills easier, i suggest you place them on the Weapon Skills page (or somewhere else, if more appropriate) so that they can be learned before being downed, or at least when not currently downed.

Not being able to pre-learn these “hidden skills” (and the Necro’s Death Shroud “hidden skills”) has been one of the few places where the game has felt un-user-friendly to me and has created a barrier to being able to play the game enjoyably.

I’m getting this error today when i try to log in to the launcher. My error code is: 42:1000:7006:892

I’m unable to log in due to this same error. When i had this problem before it was due to the server being down, but that doesn’t seem to be the case now.
