Guild Wars 2

I don’t know if this will help anybody but my issue was solved by removing the gw2 specific line in my host file that I put in from awhile ago.

I can’t connect at all. I get this error: 58:11:5:535

I did not get a reward when I completed Plains of Ashford map. I have map completion on another character that I did when the game first launched and I do remember getting a map completion reward on that character for that map. Did something change?

What lion’s arch are you in? Everytime I go to LIons Arch I am pushed into an overflow.

I don’t quite understand all of the drop rates and anything that goes along with them. I do know I was playing the game since launch and I really didn’t get many drops. I finally just wanted to test out MF gear so I crafted myself a set. I think I did that a little less than a month ago. Since that time, I have found about 2-3 exotics, I usually get at least one rare drop during the plinx event, a load of greens and blues, and of course junk.

I do break down all of my items except for exotics, I sell those unless it has a rune or sigil I would have bought on the trade post.

Heck, yesterday I showed up at the end of Jormag and I hit it two or three times with my bow and received an exotic from the chest. Now this has been the first time I received an exotic from a chest. The other two exotics I received were from regular mobs in Orr.

Again, I use MF gear and omnomberry bars.

2.- Heroes (I love the huge conten that they bring: customization, builds etc).
3.- GvG (please!!)
4.- UW and FoW

I can’t figure out if I miss a lot of skills. People would come up with a few templates anyway and then everybody would use those same skills. Kind of seems like what’s the point of the others if they aren’t used at all.

I liked the boss drops too. Heck you would be lucky if a champion drops anything now.

However, I do believe they added boss drops a little bit later when they added surrows furnace. I could be wrong.

I like GW2 but it’s not Guild Wars. I was disappointed by the music just generically played in the background. When I went to the final areas in Guild Wars, there was brooding music for it. Or when you were in Pre-Searing the music was different from after the searing.

Music has a big role in setting the tone for a game/area. This unfortunately has none.

In addition, one of the things I liked about Guild wars was that it was an MMO that played kind of like a regular game. It had a story and cut scenes to move the story along. This has a kind of story but I don’t really feel like there is any type of reason to be doing it. I did go through it the whole way but the the ending just sucked.

Yesterday I purchased 7g worth of superior runes for MF and I had all of the mats to craft MF armor. This is the first time I have used MF gear (I have been playing since launch).

Since yesterday I got back all 7g plus I found about 3 or 4 yellows and one exotic in Orr. I would say it works out pretty nice. I also get a lot more drops than I did before.

Yep, I got disconnected after getting to the final fight with the Ancient Karka. Logged back in and the Ancient Karka was defeated. Didn’t get to complete the event.
