Now I know that nobody really fights underwater, but sometimes you end up having to.
So this is my question, why the hell are all the scrapper skills non usable underwater? I mean seriously is bad enough we don’t have our most powerful heal under there, but we now don’t have our entire elite spec.
Again, I understand that its just “underwater” but still, what gives?
On the flip side, hammer is so fluid right now good work guys.
I know this is very close of release, but Anet did say changes will be made to the specs after HoT came out, so I wanted to see what you guys think.
I have seen many comments talking about the Purger Gyro’s toolbelt skill, which felt a bit out of place. So, I was thinking of a possible way of making it a better fit for the theme that also helps engineer as a whole.
And this is the idea: Make the toolbeelt skill a AoE condi remove. It can be the same skills “Gyro overloads cleansing pods removing 1 condi from 5 people”.
This not only will give engineer a bit more condi clear which, by the gods its always appreciated, but also gives engi more utility in WvW.
What do you guys think? Sorry if someone else already mentioned it and I missed it.
The scrapper was fun but why are all the scrapper gyros unavailable underwater? I am assuming due to beta, but seriously guys, the engineer underwater is questionable due to so many skill being blocked….
Also, Automated Medical Response does not appear to reset the Heal Gyro at 25% hp.
So the right glove of the armor, the one with the giant light coming out of it, has a cage around it, but on top of that cage there is a second, identical one, sticking out. When I look from the top or the bottom it becomes invisible, meaning that it has to width, graphically. So my question is is that part bugged? I remember the CM medium headpiece was slightly sticking out of the head. It doesn’t look bad necessarily, bu it looks strange because the same cage is right on the light source…
Is it a bug or was the second cage be on top of the cage that is drawn around the right glove light source.
Welp, it doesn’t matter anymore. I defeated the final boss!!! Thank you for the help though! :P
Amadan, I tried SD and I always end up killing the damm blobs around because of the SD jump damage…. I assume you use rabid armor, right?
I am trying to get the main achievement of the queen’s gauntlet, and I cant do it. I need to finish 1 more achiev from this list:
Deafeat the final boss
Deafeat the final boss after you hit her with 8x light
Have 3 gambits
Have 5 gambits
Dont let the dog get the meat in Strugar and chumper fight.
dont kill any globs from subject 7
And I need help… I cannot defeat the final boss so the first 2 ahievs are improbable… then the gambits ones I can do if i fight the sniper tier 3 boss… which appears to be bugged for me, i think. His mines are invisible and I cannot see them but they still detonate. I need some advice… I am a level 80 Engineer.
BTW Arenanet! The last 2 achievs on the list should be changed. The Strugar and Chomper fight, Strugar threw the meat right on chomper, multiple times, so Its impossible to get the meat before chomper eats it.
Also, I cannot kill subject 7 without killing his blobs. 80% of my main damage abilities are AoE as an engineer and its pretty much impossible unless I am maybe lucky?!

Well, the rifle is interesting…
Skill 2: is ok overall, easy to dodge but its a immobilization every 10 seconds.
Skill 3: It kinda needs a buff or a change. It deals damage equal to 2-3 normal shots, but it requires the enemy to be right next to you, and it gives them an danger animation (yellow glow) and a delay.
Skill 4: In a way I like the knockback on yourself. It’s dangerous when there are multiple enemies but in 1v1s is interesting. It gives you almost double the knockback, you get up faster so its a mini stun, and unless bugged, it is supposed to cure immobilization, chills and cripples.
Guys I know why the jump deals no damage. When you have the trait on, it inverses the AoE sites. So, when you launch the game deals the landing damage and animation. When you land it does the launch damage and animation, dealing less damage and bouncing you up because thats the launch animation. Removing Rifle Barrel trait fixes this.
In other words you are doing the jump backwards…
