My question is with the Febuary patch would you rather have a patch that:

A) Added crazy features to inspire fun:
Archer towers
Controllable NPCs
Automated Siege (babysitting a tower with a treb is boring)
Clustered Gathering Nodes
WvW Chests (not as lord kill rewards just in nonfortified locations)
PvE dungeons (inside WvW)
More PvE events
Crazy map layouts that aren’t focused on equal chances
Exotic locations (pirate theme, dark evil theme, etc)
And generally more things that are crazy

B) Keep equal perfectly symmetrical map designs and build rank, reward, and further better the current system.

I’m not saying they couldn’t do both but if you had to pick which would you choose?

Collision Detection WvW

Input collision detection and the 3 way fight in SM goes from lagtastic to unplayable IMO. It is a Great Idea but too highly resource intensive.

I use a game pad and just hold L2 but I doubt that is a workaround…lol

To a certain degree I agree, but no matter what setup you use you can not turn your character, turn the screen, and target a ground ability like grenades at the same time.

A "New" WvWvW Solution

Hello Anet and fellow players,

Yes, I am a avid wvw player and am currently disheartened by the problems present in that section of the game. Below I will present a “problem” / “solution” scenario. The reason I am posting this is because I believe ANET is concentrating on the wrong issue

Problem

Only a small portion of playtime is highly enjoyable.

Population fluctuations dictate 75% of playtime. The issue isn’t the score or nightcapping because I don’t care about that. The problem is it is not fun:

It is not fun to steamroll tower after tower, keep after keep when you outnumber your enemy 3 to 1.

It is not fun to defend a tower with 5 people against 50.

WvW is however, in my opinion, the most fun activity in the game when you can actually get an even match up.

Solution

Get more people involved and enforce dynamic Queue Blocks

Part 1: Get People Involved
I don’t care who I’m playing with I just want people to play with. Honestly, I believe the WvW should be customized to accommodate more pve and pvp players. I would totally be in favor of adding PVE events that gave Good Rewards or adding areas with Excessive gathering nodes. Why? Because it gives a reason for pve folks to come in, enjoy, and get rewarded in WvW. On the flipside, PvP players would be able to fight for surrounding fortifications to ensure possession of those areas. Also it would give PvP players something rewardable to do (because there is a lack of that other than karma). And WvW players will have someone to play with (because lets face it we are basically as popular as dungeons prior to fractals).

Part 2: Block Qs
There should be a dynamic limit of how many people get in to WvW based on all 3 server WvW populations. However, nobody should ever get “kicked out” of WvW. I can not go in to further detail because of the complexity of this issue and how WvW behavior including the 3 way war currently works (also conquering a BL seems to make the winning team go elsewhere which would further give them a advantage). It’s just an idea but the basic premise is that 50v40 turns to 50v30 turns to 50v20 turns to 50v0 which as stated before is neither fun for the winning or losing team.

I would love to hear from a dev. Either way this is my first post and I just wanted to say this game has been the most awesome gaming experience ever. The world is immersive, the story is unprecedented, and the fast paced action is incredible. Thank You
