The event is still bugged. On it to send a ticket also, please let me know if it worked for any of you so I can do LS2.

I did that particular part of LWS2 about a week ago and got lucky. But it stinks that you can only get this done when you happen to land on a map where the event hasn’t bugged out. It’s been a long time, I wonder why this cannot be fixed.
Yes no idea.. I quickly checked the bug reports site and nothing is there about this event.. I sent a ticket and all, hope we get and answer soon. I’ll keep you posted
UPDATE 31/8: Event works fine now! A friend logged in and was able to progress his LW2 story and I just logged in, did the event without any problems and progressed too. Let’s hope it continues to work
