Guild Wars 2

Okay. So I’ve been playing GW2 with no problems for about 2 weeks now.
And I log on today and I just get instant code 42’s everytime I get into the game.

before you ask.

I have no conflicting firewalls/virus scanners.
And yes, all the ports required to be open are currently opened and assigned correctly.

Several Fixes for this Bug include.

1.) Be the host of the dungeon you wish to compete in.
2.) Only collect players from your server if you aren’t host.

EU servers. Piken Square.

Quit, only advice I can give you. I have the same problem only worse. I’m migrating to WoW and getting ready for the next path. GW2 what a massive let down, only bought it 5days ago.

I connect using a cable. I live in the UK.

Hey, thanks for taking the time to click on my thread. I’ll explain the issue I’ve been having and the personal steps I’ve taken into resolving the issue.

I have been attempting to join PvP games, but none are listed and when I attempt to join a game it stays on the loading screen for about 5minutes then disconnects me.
I have been getting constant Code 42 & 7 issues popping up upon login.

I have tried changing the target to “clientport 80” and I have even opened the ports required for GW2 to run.

This is my last attempt at trying to get this to work.

No response guessing it’s just an issue I have :/ Oh well, time to convert back to WoW or GW1
