Who are we?
DTE is an international multi-gaming clan that was formed back in 2000. Since then we have played many games together, from MMOs to FPS and RTS games. Our presence as a clan in MMOs has been pretty much non-existent in recent years but we have changed that with GW2. That doesn’t mean to say we’ve not been playing MMOs though, as a number of us have actively played in some of the newer games and have been part of, and leaders of, successful alliances and groups. We are focused on providing a friendly and mature, but not too serious, community for like-minded people to enjoy all aspects of the game in. But, while we are a relaxed community it’ll not be at the expense of progression within the game.
What we expect from members
- As a general rule all applicants should be 18+ and have a good understanding of spoken and written English.
- We’re not an alt guild so all members should have their main character with us at all times. It is preferred that all characters are with us, though exceptions can be made at the officers’ discretion.
- All members are expected to treat others as they’d wish to be treated. This includes, but is not limited to, helping others out as and where you can and being respectful to all members.
Guild Taxes
There is currently a small guild tax in place, which takes effect after members reach level 30. It benefits the guild in that it allow us to advance faster and help members out than if we were relying on donations alone and it will be there to be used as prizes for guild competitions or for members to request amounts from at the officers’ discretion. Do not be put off by this as the amount works out at less than two quests per week!
What we offer
There is a clan TS3 server which all members have access to and are encouraged to use. We have an established IRC channel which, while not mandatory, is a great place to get to know guildies when not in-game and we have our forums to keep members updated with what is going on. There are organized guild events in both PvE and PvP. And lastly, there is the friendly, helpful community.
