Targeting sucks yeah. Would definately agree.
Still though, haven’t yet played an mmo where it works.

I fished pretty much my entire story arc solo, apart from the last because thats a dungeon. Also 95% of the world, save from the WvW maps. So i do think they mean solo as in the actualness of solo…

Regardless, I would agree. But walking to the grocerystore and going to mars to form a colony are not the only two things out there that you can aim for in terms of difficulty in my opinion. Especially when it comes to benine things like map-completion.

Beeing able to solo this game was one of its selling points so your comparison makes little sense to me.
Getting people to join you to get random map nodes someone may or may not have is a hassle not worth having. Why would I have to be forced to find party for that kind of stuff. Theres no added value in that what so ever. I have a clan and I can find people to help me out, but thats besides the point that one should be able to do this alone.

I never said i want to play solo all the time either.

On the travels of my world completion i’ve come of the opinion Orr has too many mobs in a lot of area’s. Sometimes making solo-map completion quite impossible. Especially the case with skills points where more often then not an already tough opponent needs to be taken down, and if you put all that goings on under water where navigating during fighting is a challenge of itself it becomes rather frustrating.

I would suggest turning down the mob population here and there.

If you have a high end card that costs a lot of money you might find it having to work less hard and therefore run cooler yes, but on a mid-range card I don’t think the difference will be significant enough to be noted.
My Vsync habit is purely estatic. I’ve never needed more then 50 some FPS to play super quick FPS games like Unreal and Quake so I won’t need more in this game, having a smooth screen when moving about is worth so much more then a high number in your menu screen. But some people need to have a massive kitten hanging out for all to see. :P

Vsync always. More then 60FPS has no purpose whatsoever and screen tearing is apocalypticly annoying.

Can't enter Asura Counsil instance.

I can’t enter the Asura Counsil instance. It keeps loading and then gives a connection error.
Restarting the game does not help.

Is this a wider problem?

Good to know its not just me.
Agree with the proposed changes of beeing able to kick them off the ledge and reducing their numbers and/or strength and reduce falling damage.

I’ve completed the story mode on my main character so now im just hunting around for map completion and i find getting the Dostoev Sky Peak Vista Point obnoxiously difficult. The route towards it is filled with Dredge among which about three vets. The follow distance is just silly and there really is no way of getting that Vista point without help.
Which brings me to the next point that has a big share in making this thing frustrating; if you try to kill everything en route you inevitably find yourself with dredge that can kick you back. Why can dredge kick me back off of an edge and thus killing me but I can’t return that favor to dredge?

I’m all for a challenge but i’m working on this singular vista point for well over half an hour now and it really stopped being fun after the fifth time i got kicked off of a ledge after kickback attack.

Just rushing too it doesn’t do it aswell as you can’t use a Vista in combat and everything follows you up to the final platform so you HAVE to kill everything before getting there…

Pop up does not put you in the dungeon, going through the gate does but not in the same instance as your pary.
We have tried the day before yesterday, and just now.

Have bug-reported it.

I have problems with FPS, completely at random, I normally get 60FPS (capped because of Vsync) on max setting eveb in huge areas its well over 50, now its struggeling to get 10.
PC Restart may fix it but game restart certainly does not.
Have the latest non-beta drivers installed, i’m not to keen about installing beta drivers suggested by Arenanet just because I do not like potentially unstable things.

GeForce 460GTX, Intel i5 2500k Quadcore, 16GB ram, GW2 is installed on a 120GB SSD drive.
