Issue: Large black shadow cube on Hunter’s Shot

I’m a returning player, and I find this bug particularly unfortunate because all the rest of the game’s graphics are so lovely— but then there’s this big glitchy shadow cube around my longbow when I stealth. I LOVE playing my ranger, but this is a pretty constant break in the game for me, since it’s a basic ability for combat.

I’ve heard this kind of animation glitch has happened to other people— has anyone seen a fix for theirs yet? Last time I had an appearance glitch, I ended up just having to buy a Self-Style Hair Kit out of my own pocket to fix it, because ANet never addressed it.

Okay, whew, so I’m not the only one! This is currently happening to my character during Hunter’s Shot with my Berserker’s Pearl Stinger, transmuted to Sovereign Greatbow. It’s unfortunate, because all the rest of the game’s graphics are so lovely, and then there’s this big glitchy shadow cube around my longbow when I stealth.

I just logged into my charr today for the first time in about 9 months, thinking I might finally level her up, and I noticed that her dark silver hair rings are now a hideous fuchsia-red. I see this happened 3-4 months ago, many people have reported it, Anet acknowledged it— why has this not been fixed yet? Is there any way to fix it player-side besides spending money on a kit? Should I just reroll, or will that not fix it either?
