Null world name

Sometime this morning, world_names.json started returning a null world name near the end of the list:

{"id":"1012","name":"Darkhaven"},
{"id":"2208","name":"Dasha [DE]"},
{"id":"2000","name":null},
{"id":"2025","name":"Fort Dunn"}]

I’m not sure if 2000 corresponds to a valid world whose name is now missing, or if it’s new.

Events missing

As of today, some events are missing. For instance, if I try to get the state of the Jormag event on TC:

https://api.guildwars2.com/v1/events.json?world_id=1017&event_id=0464CB9E-1848-4AAA-BA31-4779A959DD71

The result is:

{"events":[]}

Looking at the event_names response, the Jormag event is gone. Yesterday, event_names listed 1639 events. Right now it’s only showing 930. So it seems that a lot more than Jormag is missing.

[API Suggestion] Characters

I’d love to have a way to see character achievements like jump puzzles completed, and other stats like number of WvW kills. In past games, our guild has run contests for most kills in a week, most crafting levels gained, stuff like that. That’s currently impossible in GW2 because there’s no way to see this kind of information about other players.

Same problem! Everyone is at 4 now that Act 3 has started, but I am stuck at 3:

So doesn’t that mean I should be at 4 achievements now? But somehow I only have 3.

In other games, our guild has run regular contests, awarding prizes for things like most kills in a week, or most levels gained, etc. We simply recorded everyone’s stats from the web site at the start of the contest, and then compared the numbers at the end to determine the winner.

GW2 tracks all sorts of great stats, such as amount of supply used in WvW, number of creatures killed with different weapons, and all kinds of other things. It would be great to be able to run contests based on these things, but we can’t realistically do that without a way to look up player stats on the web site.

Please add this feature! Thank you.
