Hi guys. An update:

For those who have been having the same issue as mine (described above / previous post):

- I updated Teamspeak (my version was far outdated)
- disabled some start-up applications (adviced by kirito)

I feel that it was caused by TS though, as I immediatly didnt have any problems ever since it was updated.

Thanks alot for the help. I have been playing for approximately 3hours without a DC. So my hopes are high that it’s been fixed thanks to you.

Also: which command should I use in the MSconfig / command promp?

And I haven’t been able to find FXAA either.

@Shashu, your log shows “out of memory” crashes. Common problem on 32bit OS as it is a limitation of the architecture. Besides waiting Anet to tune their code to work with in the 32bit bounds, there are two workarounds you can do.

1. Upgrade to 64bit OS
2. Try using /3 GB switch. Which has it’s own downsides.

Exception: c0000005 is a common error I’ve seen with numerous causes. Often because another 3rd party application is interfering. For me it was MSI-Afterbuner, enable Direct3D runtime comparability fixed it, Other people have problems with fraps, mumble, skype or programs with overlays etc. Try disabling your startup applications in msconfig and see if you still get the error. Some have found Disabling FXAA fixed their crashes and/or lowering other settings.

To which ‘startup applications’ are you refering? I’m not that good with computers ^^

Guys just remember when you post your log files, it has your ISP and your pc username. I suggest you just delete that part from the file before adding it to the forums.

Hello people,

For the passed 7-10 days I have been having random game crashes. I first thought it might be related to a patch, but then many more people would need to experience this defect.

I updated my drivers to the latest (via nVidia website) and I still get crashes.

Any ideas what may be causing these crahses? (For what I remember, it started occuring after a ‘large’ patch).

Well. I’ve been having a similar issue: My game crashes randomly (sometimes I can play 3hours long without a crash, sometimes I get 2 crahses in 10mins).
I updated my drivers and such, but it didn’t help.

If you happen to find the solution, please post it to help us all out. (I will too, if I find a solution).

As for the other questions: I have the A / D strafe issues too, I’m pretty sure it’s since the last patch and is probably a minor bug that is to be fixed.

The tabbing is just how it works in this game, a bit annoying, but you’ll get used to it!
