Let me start by saying that I’m not really experienced in GW2 yet. I have leveled my character mainly by soloing and duoing with some friends and have only done 1 or 2 dungeons. Also I have done no PvP to speak of, but I don’t plan on doing that in the near future. I’m now slowly creeping towards 80 and I’m looking for some help with my build.
Mainly I look for a DPS build with some tanking ability. Most of the time I play with 3 friend who are a: guardian healer, elementelist DPS (or healer, depends if the guardian friend is playing) and a warrior DPS/tank. I don’t really want to be a full tank, cause it makes soloing basicly impossible.
This is the build I’m aiming now for: http://www.guildhead.com/skill-calc#mzcoMz0zMmnvammnvam0xxa0oaqoRMV
The reason I chose precision as main dmg stat because I kinda like the feel of it. Is this a viable build for PvE end game at all? I tried also tried a burning build, but didn’t really like the feel of it. Also I picked some healing skills to improve survivalibility.
Untill recently I fought with a greatsword, but at higher lvl I felt really squashy, so I switched over to sword/shield. Now I’m much better at surviving, but I find that I do very little dmg (might be my crappy gear though).
Gearwise I tend to focus on precision/crit dmg and toughness, in that order. Is this right? Or would you guys rather go for a power based build?
All help and feedback is appreciated, but please don’t judge me for being a noob, I know I am :-P
Thxs. If I see a version of GW1 for very cheap I might by it :-P Or I’ll wait for the official option in the shop.
I like microtransactions for small pieces of game content, as long as they really are content and it’s not things like XP and Power boosts. I have no problem paying 5-10 euro’s for a new area with questline, events and a dungeon tied to it.
For me the rule is, DLC is ok for as long as you can enjoy the game without feeling you’re missing out on something when you don’t buy it. DLC to extent the time for you enjoying the game is ok, DLC to improve current content is a no go.
That said, I’d rather have multiple small packs then one big expansion, because then I can choice which pack I can buy and when to buy it. I’m not much of a think ahead person. Also, I have no problems with other people buying stuff like XP boosts and such. Just don’t expect me to buy it. ;-)
I was wondering, is there a way to change my screenname? (the one with the numbers behind it) I’ve been looking in the account options, but no luck.
If there isn’t, can you please consider making one Arenanet? I would even pay a few bucks in the store for it.
"We cannot respond to individual emails about exploits" - what if i have to get an answer?

First of all, I wouldn’t worry about getting banned. On the contrairy of what people on forums might say, you rarely getting band for using exploits unless you use thirdparty for it. The thing is, the exploits are bugs that Arenanet let in, so that can’t really punnish you for using them.
Of course that doesn’t mean you should keep on using it. My suggestion is: keep the 9 silver as a reward for reporting the exploit, but resist the temptation of using it again ;-)
