Guild Wars 2

I’ve been d/c’ing every few moments this morning, as well as some of my guildies, so I ran a traceroute for myself. My latency spiked up from about 20ms to 100ms when it hit the Level3 IP addresses, and stayed there for the rest of the route.

I don’t totally understand all the details of the report, but if I remember reading correctly, when your MS spikes up when it bounces between different IP’s and stays there, that means there’s a problem in your connection.

If this is a Level3 problem (or some other middleman problem) I think that we may just have to wait until it’s fixed or contact the middleman companies about it.

Others have mentioned one must complete the Raids Mastery line to enable Spirit Shards.

Perhaps, that is the issue.

I could see that being true.
I only question that because I was able to level up for spirit shards before I selected to train the Ancient Magics mastery, but once I went through and finished it, it wasn’t possible anymore, this is solely in HoT though.
What also stumps me is, even if that were the reason why it’s not available, I haven’t even killed a boss in a Raid, so the Raid mastery line is locked for me until I decide to Raid, which gives me nothing to put these Auto-consume exp tomes towards in the mean time.

When I first enter Bloodstone Fen, I was able to level up post-mastery tracks and earn spirit shards for Experience. I chose to finish the new mastery line first to get it out of the way, but when I had finished it, my exp bar didn’t revert back to training spirit shards.

I still haven’t done Raid masteries, but I havent’ even unlocked them either.

When I go back to Central Tyria, the Spirit Shards are available to level. The problem only happens on HoT maps, because the new mastery line is a part of the expansion and requires maguuma mastery points to train.

I may consider upping the spending price. I was planning on just buying a prebuilt one, but I’ve been thinking about building as well as that seems to be the way to go… I just never know what to look for

I’ve been looking up computers, and it’s giving me a headache, so I’m really looking for some help in a new computer solely for playing guild wars 2. My current set up is an hp pavilion dv6 laptop with an i3 processor. I land a good 20 fps on “best performance” graphics, with medium character model quality added onto it, in a non-populated area. If I run SB/Frozen Maw, ill hit about 7-10 fps with that, closer to 10 if I take away if character quality. *My computer is at least 4 years old as well.

I’m looking for anywhere between 20-30 fps medium graphics regular gameplay, and if i can even land 20 fps on lowest graphics during WvWvW, I’ll be a happy camper.

Preferably looking for a desktop, and my budget is between 400-500 if possible, any suggestions? This is what I’ve stumbled upon so far…
