I am in EST, and I have tried the Lion’s Arch test. People on my server suck

Hey, all,

I am on a server whose community of players is extremely…solo-oriented. I’ve NEVER come across a population of players so incredibly anti-social in my life. The name of this game becomes a matter of extreme irony playing on this server.

The server is Gate of Madness. No one, and I mean no one EVER responds to questions, comments, requests for help, people looking for group, you name it. The guild that I’m in is no better—it’s basically a dead guild and I would leave it in a second if there was even the slightest hint that there was any guild on the server that was any better.

Suffice to say, my game experience so far has been very disappointing—the game itself is great, it’s very fun, it’s challenging, I like the puzzles etc, but….the players. The players are killing me. I’m used to LOTRO where people just run around helping you out because they feel like it. I swear to god, every character I played on that game got geared out compeltely by random strangers—repeatedly, with different strangers, as I levelled up. I did my best to RTF and like to think I helped some guys out.

But jeez, are these two populations ever different.

Does anyone know of a server with a active, social, supportive player base, or even a server where one can find a guild that actually does things to help each other out?

Hello there,

I am a new jeweler and I had some questions regarding crafting. I’m maxing out my crafting levels because I’m a little OCD, and I believe I’ve done all of the copper ones (I can’t see any more of the components on discovery) as per the wiki, but the problem I have is that I’ve also done all of the silver level crafting as per the wiki, but silver setting still shows up, and it says I have 22 recipes yet to discover!

I have tried buying some doubloons, but they don’t show up as possible components on discovery. What am I missing? I’ve done all 21 of the recipes (reg/upgraded ammy, ring, and earring for all 7 jewels at silver).

What am I missing? Am I also missing some from copper as well?
