Guild Wars 2

I own an computer store and an IT Technician by day and avid gamer by night. I have ATi Radeon HD5870 and it runs everything maxed at high FPS. DDR3 1333 and 1600 Mhz wont make any difference. A decent Motherboard like an ASUS or Gigabyte is the main factor. DO NOT cheap out on a crap MoBo. You’ll thank me later. Decent PSU 700W upwards and a good HDD. Either small 60GB Solid State for Windows and GW2 on it and bigger for data. If you need decent pricing I get it at cost from Distributor. So cheaper than Newegg. Let me know. Also depends where U situated.

The server lag in GW is atrocious. I was getting 6-8 minute latency then disconnect. Wasn’t my internet because the rest was fine and fast. The chat was ok but Gameplay sucked. Come on GW, sort your servers out.

I was also lagging so bad at one stage it took 6-8 minutes for a response, then it just disconnected me. I complained about it in the forum bu they didn’t post my complaint. It wasn’t a slow internet connection either as the rest of the internet was fast. Even the Guild Chat was working perfect, but gameplay sucked.

Nvidia…Theres your problem. Get an ATi. I use Win 8 and my Radeon and not a single problem.

Quite frankly, I’m sick and tired of the GW2 servers lagging so bad that you get literally a 6 minute lag and latency then it disconnects. Start charging ppl every month a small fee if it will speed up things and upgrade your servers. At this rate I am welcoming the World of Warcraft monthly subs because they never lag, never update a thousand times a month especially after a large update, the next day is another update, I mean WTF. Sort your kitten out because even though it’s free, its not worth the frustration sometimes and people are getting kitten off. Me being one of them.
