Guild Wars 2

Well sadly my “real life” took over for a while and I have been sorely remiss in my Guild Wars’ing. Thankfully I’m back in action now! ;D

Guild party tomorrow night!

I believe we’re possibly planning to get a big group together and try to learn some SPvP and maybe look at trying to make a team. I know I’ve never done any PvP before so it’s a little intimidating to me. If you’re new (or even a seasoned vet!) and would like to hang out with us while we teach people and just generally have a grand time, come join us!

I think my favorite thing about the MadCast GW2 guild is the people. It’s nice to be in an organized guild, which is a great benefit of itself, but honestly it doesn’t matter what we’re doing.

I’m just happy logging onto TS to get to be around these people. Logging into TS and being around them is one of the highlights of my day.

We ran some successful bounty hunts tonight! Thanks to all who came and participated; it was a great time!

It’s going to be pretty great! I encourage lots of people to come! It’s going to be super fun. I am god -awful- at jumping puzzles, so everyone can enjoy giggling at my multiple failures ;p

The thing I love the most about the MadCast GW2 guild is how friendly and welcoming everyone is. You can always find people to do whatever your heart desires wtih; they’re friendly, encourage and helpful.

GW2 was my first-ever MMO and I’m still rather noob-ish and don’t understand a lot of things, but everyone is patient, friendly and willing to teach me. They don’t mind running dungeons with me even if I don’t use the right skills or combos, even if I have the wrong. They may give me helpful tips if I want them but they’re also completely willing to let me play the game how I want to play it.

I really want it to be Wednesday night already so I can get in on some guild bounty hunt action!

We do have a number of newer players; there are usually always a handful running around in lower-level areas doing map completion and learning the game together. Lots of our more seasoned players tag along too and just help out or play around with them

We have weekly guild events four nights a week, we run dungeons, do guild bounty hunts, wvw and then we kind of have a grab bag on saturday night where we do various things.

We’re a fairly casual guild, we’re just interested in having fun and doing stuff together. We also tend to be on later at nights too so I think the hours would match up pretty well.

Welcome to Guild Wars 2! I’m newish myself (though I’ve finally hit level 60 on my one character, woohoo!) and I have found the game super addicting.

My group, MadCast Gaming is a super friendly bunch which welcomes players of all experience levels. We currently have a pretty good-sized bunch of us who are various degrees of “new” to the game and low level.

We do a good mix of pve and pvp. We run guild events four nights a week, but don’t expect attendance to everything. Come to what interests you/what you can make

Tonight we’ll be getting groups together to do the new multiplayer dungeon in SouthSun Cove and possibly trying to help people who haven’t explored there at all yet get the achievements. South Sun Cove levels you up to 80, so it’s fun for lower levels to do in a group with more experienced players, imo.

Anyway, at MadCast we’re a community so we’re bigger than just GW2 though we have an active GW2 guild. We value respectfulness, friendliness and fun. I’d say we’re on the more casual side of guilds and we try to do a little of everything (dungeons, guild missions, wvw, etc.)

We’re going to get groups together to do the multi-player dungeon in SouthSun Cove that just recently opened. People have to complete the dungeon by themselves first in order to unlock the multi-player version, so we’ll probably being trying to help/encouraging people to run by themselves all together first, then break up into groups to do the multiplayer. We don’t have a ton of focus on PVP. We do a decent amount of WvW, but we try to be a bit of everything and don’t focus too much on anyone area. We’re probably more social than anything. If you’re looking for hardcore PVP we’re probably not quite the right group.

We are a really good bunch though! And I highly encourage you to come hang out with us sometime anyway

Major thanks to RedJustice and Animus for helping me out so that I got my monthly completed tonight! We did 11 jumping puzzles in one night! Overall they were fun and then RedJustice, best guild buddy ever, walked her low-level Mesmer into Diessa Plateau to help me port to the end of the one puzzle I spent probably an hour trying to get ;p

We’re a community, so we play more games than just Guild Wars 2 but we have an active guild here. Our main values are friendliness, respectfulness and having fun. We don’t have any crazy rules, we’re pretty laid back. We want people to be active, but we want them to come to the things they’re interested in and not worry about the things they aren’t. We understand that real life is going to trump gaming and people can’t always be around.

We have a regular schedule of events we do. We run dungeons on Tuesday nights, guild bounty hunts on Wednesadays, Saturday is a grab-bag and on Sunday we do WvW. We also do all of those things at unscheduled times as well
