Would axe/mace longbow be at all acceptable? I’m extremely BORED after 80 levels of GS/Rifle, and wanted to shake it up a bit.

Would something like the following work for open PvE (map completion/farming) and the occasional dungeon? I’m thinking I’d shift it to axe/warhorn and retrait into full tactics and go into banner mode if I ever did Fractals.

Hi everyone!

After spending some time with my level 80 Guardian, it wasn’t QUITE what I was looking for. While an AH/Hammer build felt powerful and useful in groups, my DPS was suffering and I was told that such specs are no use in higher level Fractals anyhow (Though I’m still at level 0. Too chicken to start! XD)

Anyhow!

I am currently working on leveling a warrior, and really enjoying it. I got to 60 using a 5-signet build, now I’m starting to consider building an offensively aligned support character.

I like Sonic Boon a lot, but don’t like the healing shouts quite as much – they just don’t have the range outside of a clustered zerg. So, basically, I have a modified build and was looking for opinions on viability… and how much DPS loss switching to Soldier runes instead of Boon Duration one would lead to.

I’m thinking of 10/25/5/30/0, (with the tactics line buffing my banner, giving it regen) using Knights armor/Zerker trinkets as a starting point. Pretty Typical GS/Rifle setup, with Longbow for DE’s and Bloodlust stacks.

Healing Surge, FGJ and Banner of Discipline, Signet of Rage as my Elite. The final utility slot will waffle between Shake it Off, Signet of Stamina, and Balanced Stance as needed, I think.

Thoughts? Am I trying to have it both ways, with offensive buffing and dps, and therefore doomed to have neither? Would Soldier runes be acceptable support, or would they just tank my DPS?

The subject kind of says it all – my google fu is weak this morning, and I thought I’d take my question straight to the source, as it were. Anyone know of any guilds out there that have a progressive or welcoming attitude towards the LGBT community?

I’ve had a few bad experiences in groups or guilds in the past (not in this game,) and I’m a little wary of being called out or kicked from a group when I slip up and mention that I’ve got a boyfriend. I know it doesn’t matter in the long run, there’s always another group, etc… but still.
