Hmmm, I seem to stay connected just fine ^.^
Maybe it’s a new compatibility issue with an anti-virus system? I remember my Trend Micro used to crash my COD – BO connection and when I disabled it, everything worked fine.

1stly – If the game is bought digitally or physically, the process is extremely similar – The launcher is installed(physical copy) or downloaded(digital copy) then from there the launcher starts to download the roughly 25gigs of the game. This is a long process if you have a slow connection speed like myself. So either wait it out or do what I did and copy it from a friend.
2ndly – The game has a minimum requirements that it actually requires to run :

* Intel® Core™ 2 Duo 2.0 GHz, Core i3, AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 or better
* 2 GB RAM

* Broadband Internet connection
* Keyboard and mouse
Mac Beta Minimum System Requirements

These hardware components you can get from almost any computer or technology store. Regarding installing the components – Either do it yourself or pay a professional at a store to do it for you.
