The guardian it’s the only class that i usually use with the ranger but, i love the ranger, the idea of being natural but powerfull at the same time and have a pet at your side, the only thing that i regret it’s to felt in love with it XD i like the lore and the history of the class, and i like the gameplay but i recognize that anet it’s keeping nerf us instead to buff a bit and for buff i mean, repositioning of traits, give us the staff and bring back the old shortbow, and maybe re-design the longbow, if they will do those things ranger will be not hate anymore and i think that people will stop to complain

Ranger sucks….. stop. Here is nothing to discuss about, don’t come here and tell me you are not skilled because i killed the 85% of ranger that i’ve meet in pvp and they were most of the times champion hunter, legendary champion etc…… I’m playing this class from day one, there is nothing that ranger can do better than other classes, and don’t come here and say but rangers do all good and nothing better, because it’s not true !!! I read about ranger can have stealth and much more in only one build………. pls and i repeat pls tell me wich build do you use because i’m curious, if i want to be condition spirit and have stealth too i can’t, i must have to use longbow and that sucks for traits and mechanisms, if i want to stealth i can use a power build, but also the 3rd skill of the longbow sucks as well, because i must hit the target for get stealth !!! Unfair in my opinion!!! we can have stealth with a trait called camouflage, and it sucks too. why ? because i can have stealth only for 3 seconds and i must remain in the place so if i have an aoe under me, i will take all the damage or i can just move and make the trait useless…… A lot of pets sucks for example moa, i really don’t know what they are good for, and ursine !!! pls tell me why i should use ursine, for a random stuff ??? Let’s talk about elite skills, i’m fine with the spirit and the rampage as one but entangle it’s the worst elite skills of the ranger, it immobilize but you can break out you can cure the immobilize condition you can shadow step away you can blink away you can break them pretty easly!!! why anet don’t make entangle not a condition but a penality, that if you don’t destroy the roots you can’t never and i repeat never break out the only way to escape should be to break those roots. Pets can’t avoid, you can’t see their buffs, i don’t understand why a class that focus on pet should be not able to have a exclusive board for him where it shows buffs, for example might and vigor etc….
Another thing that i don’t understand it’s what are we ?!!! we are not archer we are not hunter, i guess the nearest definition is a set between an archer and a druid, but i still don’t see why we can’t use staff then, really spirits and staff should be a great variant to the class and maybe could take a great place in pvp team like supporter in middle, and the last thing that i don’t understand why give mesmers stealth when they have already a lot of things !! like portals, teleports, invulnerability, and don’t give rangers an utility skill that can make us stealth or that can make us able to do some smoke combo !! i think rangers after thief should be the most silent class in the game !!! That’s all, and people don’t come here and write l2p, cuz i bet you are one of those that use warriors, the easiest class in the game
