These are well documented bugs in the forums and its appalling how long they have been broken without any fix.

expertise training – pets like lynx gain no benefit from increased condi damage and condi duration (this trait does work with new pets like bristleback but no older pets) and is effectively useless until fixed.

ambidexterity – the bonus condi damage from this talent does not adjust correctly when switching to shortbow from axe/torch. if you die in pvp while equipped with a weapon that does not benefit from this talent, the bonus is lost and switching weapons to axe/torch does not bring the bonus back.

that is 2 talents out of a possible 9 in the wilderness survival talent tree which are broken and unusable and i am yet to see a response from Arena net regarding these issues and given the incredibly long time they have been broken without a fix makes me feel really disappointed. I would like to think that basic specializations functioning correctly would be of paramount importance from a game design perspective.

pets are permanently stowed for me too. K button does not work nor does the activate button. Severe loss of utility and damage and no downed skill without pet makes it unplayable in PvP until this is resolved. Would be nice if you could fix the broken talents in the wilderness survival tree – expertise training and ambidexterity while you are at it.

having the same problem. pets appear in open world but when going to the pvp lobby and pvp games, pets are disabled. clicking activate does nothing and pressing “K” does not bring up the pet panel. This makes ranger unplayable in pvp, your downed skill doesn’t work without pet as well as the significant utility and dps loss….please fix
