Guild Wars 2

So far I’ve been enjoying my greatsword guardian, however fights were it seems like there are 30+ people I notice most are range and they just stand there while I’m moving around to avoid being hit. Is the game in general geared to be easier for ranged or is this a lower level thing? (I’m currently level 32)

For the in-game chat box there is an option “Flash on Unread Messages.” Is it intended to work only on the “Main” chat tab not any other even though it is checked in all tabs. For example I have one labeled “Guild” (like I’m sure most people do) however when people are talking in guild chat it won’t flash or turn a different color like like the “Main” tab does.

Yeah it’s been a problem for a while. It seems to be only separate guild chat tabs affected, as I have 5 tabs:

Main / Say / Whisper / Party / Guild

And only the Guild chat tab doesn’t flag for me. Though strangely, when I have guild chat ticked in Main, it does flash.
