I was playing just fine a few minutes ago (time on this post is 8:44 pm central texas) and my soldier exotic gear disappeared from my bank.

A few details – The soldier exotic gear is my starter gear i got from using a level 80 boost.

I logged on my ranger alt and checked my banks to get some 15 slot bags and the gear disappeared.

PLEASE NOTE i deleted the bronze rifle (the soldier rifle) but NOT the medium armor earrings rings amulets or back piece.

Only the hammer soldier scrapper is in my bank and the armor had durability runes i got from aurin basin.

Can someone look into this ? right now i am using marauder exotics so i am ok, but i like to have an extra defense armor just in case. Also don’t worry about the other armors and weapons in my banks – the story mode and viper guns and blade armor are just collections and achievements i am working on.

my idea for kits

I have an idea for kits. It’s kind of a nerf but i think it would help engineer. Engineer has 5 utility slots that are weapons (6 if you include mortar).

They should remove all utility kits, and make a ultimate skill called “Armory stand” and players can right click it to pick up a weapon ( like a ele flame sword) but instead be the old kits we have now. So an example would be a warrior clicks on the armory stand and can choose from a list of weapons they can use to change their attack skills.

Then anet should completely redesign these new summonable weapon kits (get rid of all the whole skills) and make new powerful skills for them that any class can use when they pick it out of the armory stand.

To put icing on the cake…you can make runes of the engineer get a 5% damage bonus to all summonable weapons, turrets, and gyros. The rune could have vitality and toughness on it.

Any ways this is just an idea. It would free up 5 utility slots so engineers can get more useful skills, as well as give other classes some funny weapon to wield by looting the ultimate skill of the engineer. It would be a lot of work to design actually, but it is just an idea i am tossing around.

Amulet System in WvW

I don’t want amulets in WvW – I play an engineer and i love sustain tank and bunker builds as well as celestial stats and toughness and vitality stacking.

Engineer is a very tanky class by standards.

NOw in SPVP it’s all about damage and defensive boons and cc spamming. It’s a wonder how engineer sucks in spvp.

Yea i don’t want amulets in WvW PVP. I mostly roam and harass zergs.

Also Anet will not let celestial amulet or defensive amulets go through in WvW. So amulets are not good for WvW.

I think spvp is too “arena” like (from world of warcraft) while world pvp is a lot like ashran or alterac valley (with leaders, guards, towers, seige, weapons and other things).

WvW is more for casuals ,pros, guilds, and the general population. While spvp is more for gladiators and duelists and elitists.
