I’m in the same boat. I spent the last 3 hours running around and only have 32. I’m happy for the people who find enjoyment in this event, but its become akin to pulling teeth for me.

I noticed this too. I have yet to get anything higher than bronze in the pavilion. We try to get people organized, but they end up stacking on the same bosses no matter what. And increasingly players are just farming the trash to get the ap, and not helping kill the boss that is scaling due to their presence.

I didn’t really see anyone having fun. Most people in map chat including the commanders, were saying lets farm the ap then get the hell out of here.

The loot and exp nerfs are directly related to the release in china, in my opinion. They said the game will be the same across all territories, and Im thinking they don’t want the market in china flooded with high level mats. Nor do they want people leveling their alts to 80 so quickly like the last queens pavilion.

I can see why they don’t want this so soon early after the Chinese, but letting a version of Gw2 that just released affect the dynamics of a game that for everyone else has been out for almost 2 years seems silly.

I think china is actually the reason for the missing exp. Wouldn’t want everyone getting to 80 too fast, never playing most of the game and then starting to complain about endgame content….

This is my guess also. That and they don’t want to flood the market in china with high level mats so early after release. I have a feeling it will be like this with all future releases at least for the next year.

I also started having .5 to 1 sec skill lag about 4 to 5 days ago. I notice this lag with weapon swapping and inventory management also. I contacted my ISP and they had a repair guy stop by this morning, after testing he found everything is running optimally on my end. I already knew this to be the case since I have no issues what so ever running any other game.

Really hard to play correctly when you cant make any precise actions without a delay. Also should note that I have never had any issues running this game before.

I submitted a ticket last night as im also having a delay of around 1 second. I have the delay during weapon swapping, using skills, even just sorting my inventory has this delay. Doesn’t matter where im at or how populated.

Checked everything I could and even spoke with my internet company and nothing has changed on my end.

Just sent in a ticket to support, then came to the forums and found this thread. I’ve really had no performance issues in this game until today. Since this afternoon Ive had about a 1 second delay on everything from inventory management to weapon swapping. This is happening in every area even when there are very few people around. Glad its not just me.

As stated my others above Im certain nothing has changed on my end as everything else is working like normal.

just did all 3 knights and fought the holo. timer ran out on 5% hp. 40 mins of fighting for absolutely nothing. living story is fun, wohoo.

I really think loot rewards are a huge problem. Where are the new armor sets and weapon skins? This game only puts out new skins for the gem store. The rewards for actually playing the content seems to be mostly backpieces.

Overall really hope for some big changes going forward. Sometimes feels like I only play because of the time I’ve already invested into my characters.

Same problem here. Since the the most recent patch I keep getting disconnected with a variety of different errors. Also getting hung up on the black screen.

Its just a joke. People really need to lighten up sometimes.

Really irritated. Spent more time trying to get into the event than actually running the event.

Its like we have to jump through hoops to even take part in the new content.

same thing happened to me. used it and was just knocked to the ground in the same spot I was already standing in.

Same here was taking part in the meta event in sparkfly then was disconnected. logged back in and was put in a different overflow where the event was not running. Now I have to wait 45 min just to get back to something that takes another 45 min to complete.

Used a Twisted watchwork portal device and all it did was knock me to the ground in the same exact spot I was standing. Didn’t portal me anywhere.

Glad its not just me. I lag so bad I seem to lose all control for 5 to 10 seconds.

I have played a lot of PvP and this is my last unchecked hint. Really annoying it wont complete properly.

Still not fixed. Took a guy from 100% HP down to around 10% HP. He then rolled off the cliff giving me no credit for the achievement. Happens all the time.

My only problem with 2 week updates is the content feels a little unpolished and buggy. And if you want to keep up with your guild as far as achievements and rewards, then you really need to make an effort to get the meta achievement done before the content is gone.

Arena Net said they didn’t want this carrot on a stick feel with their end game but are choosing to go this direction with the living story. Just seems a little odd.

Atrophied is correct. When looking in the achievements panel the first chest you see is the next one to unlock.

I noticed this too. Another sylvari name Foldach backs up the Idea that the sylvari have never encountered the zepherites.

I agree this is poorly thought out. After failing hard in the cage room for 20 minutes I was steam rolled by a group from the Gates of Madness. How is that fun? Every time I try for this cache the same thing happens over and over.

Really trying to get back into this game after taking 2 months off. Unfortunately I come back to find content like this, or even worse achievements from spamming fireworks, candy, piñatas, and holograms. This type of content is not fun.

The other suspects are still in game, so Im assuming he was removed by accident.

Agreed really disappointing. Is missing on Sorrows Furnace as well.

same thing happened to me after I enabled AOE looting.

I’m having the exact same issue. Kasparak is no where to be found, even after reading guides on where he should be I cant find him. The first two suspects have a marker showing where there are, but nothing on the map for Kasparak.

Really sucks getting put into overflow in every zone with dragon events.

This is getting out of hand. The last 3 dragon events I tried to take part in all sent me to overflow. This hasnt happened since launch or in LA.

Same here, since 2nd patch today my guildies and I are all disconnecting.

Gw2 is the first MMO ive spent any real amount of time in, and after going solo to lv 80 I’m looking to join a guild to enjoy all aspects the game has to offer. I would like a guild that is active, friendly, and open to people who are relatively new to the MMO genre. Would really enjoy a guild that has its own website with a strong community and some form of voice chat that helps keep its members active.

Currently on on Dragonbrand, but willing to move.
