I am also a friend of esuke and have spent many hours with him grinding dungeons and events in this game and the last. I fully believe he would never do something like this and I find this kind of action by ArenaNet to be rather sad.
This wouldn’t be the first time I’ve heard of someone in Guild Wars 2 being banned with lack of supporting evidence and then having support brashly claim “We’re right, you’re wrong.” without even listening to the player. I do realize botting is an issue in this game but it seems whatever filter that is currently in place is just not doing a decent enough job. I would hate to be in this situation and hope everyone realizes they could be next, all it could take is farming an arena and getting reported by random people.
I, for one, hope ArenaNet re-evaluates it’s current bot detection system and actually listens to players when they submit support tickets.
