Guild Wars 2

Had 3 char crash in pretty much the same spot.
Ran “repair client” which gave me ‘disk I/O error’
Ran scandisk, which found one corrupted cluster on the whole disk,,,, in the GW2 folder.
Fixed that and ran repair again.
Works.

Beware: scandisk can take several hours to complete. Run it through the night.

I got one of my char. frozen in Malchor’s leap. Can not log on, game freezes at log-in screen to map.
Why is there no REAL tech support ?

One of my Characters is crashed in Malchor’s leap. Can not log on, trying to do so crashes the client AND my computer.
My other account works fine.
ATM there is nothing I can do. I can’t get to the guy.
Client update from today was supposed to fix crashes,,,, DIDN’T!

Same, like 6 times in a row now.
I thought it had to do with story being open, but I finished it, and it still happens.
Strangely enough still getting the reward chest with the master key, if the map manages to kill all 5 bosses.

I un-installed, redownloaded and installed. Works now.

Game keeps crashing since last patch. I get to the black screen that comes before char selection, then crash.
Any solutions? Re-installing a good idea?

FFXI uses instruments on the Bard job. But the graphics are a bit yesteryear…
