Recently I was in Iron Marches and a player asked where the Devourer Queen spawned and met silence, I thought i knew but didn’t have a solid answer. Time passed and he said he’d check the wiki, I asked if it was for a trait, as I was looking to get traits achieved also by “playing the game.” and as it turns out it is the event at the end of the chain on the meta event “Devouring the brand,” of which this and a few other events are a part of. So I investigated the “pre events” to the devourer queen,and lo and behold…“Defend the seige devourer while it assists the troops.” another part of Devouring hte brand is stuck along with the parallel event perhaps also.

I’d like to mention that this has been the case since release, nearly consistently. In the years I’ve played since I’ve only seen the culmination of the meta “Kill the Branded Devourer Queen.” at most 3 times and at least one or two of those times was near release time when there were active admins resetting things in the zones.

One might think that with mega servers effectively reducing zone instances that things like this could be looked after better.
