Engineer
Personal Battering Ram
This is a redundant skill for the engineer considering that many other skills have the same or better effects at lower cooldowns ( Skill 3 from Flamethrower, Skill 4 from Rifle, Throw Mine). Its rarely ever used for good reason (aside from some PVP builds or so ive read). A complete refurbishment or change to another skill would be in order since in its current state i cant imagine a good use for it in WvW or PvE.
Turrets & Mortar
The long list of bugs is known well enough so that i won’t need to elaborate on that topic. These skills are completely useless at the moment aside from leveling a new character. Aside from a buff in power/scaling with player they also need lower cooldowns to be equal to other summoned skills in the game which deal more damage, are mobile and much harder to kill. Aside from bugs the mortar also suffers from a plethora of downsides, such as immobility, good visibility due to siege icon, low range (its a kittening mortar, for kittens sake…) and no powerscaling or critchance. As an elite skill its subpar even to the charrzooka, which by design should be inferior.
I dont like it, i always get mistaken for an Elementalist A bomb would be much cooler.
I think the weapons work just fine. I would love an addition to change ammotypes if anything would be changed – i know its dreamworld but like:
1. Piercing
Rifle turns sniper, pistols to barrage w/o conditions
2. Pestilence
Pistol stays the way it is now, rifle turns into condition slinging midrange weapon
3. Buckshot
Rifle as it is now, pistol as semi-melee with up to 300 range
We could have those instead of weaponchanges and it cant be changed during battles. It would be awesome ( even though it never will happen ).
According to lore Silvari plant-bioengeneering is on the same level as Charr technology. The silvary turrets are actually better than the original and their skills come with interesting toolbeltskills. I like the idea of

Also, if you look at Scarlett,one of the most kitten engeneers is actually a Silvari already That aside they are my favourite class from all the costumizing options character creation allows.
I think we just need all the bugs fixed and they would be pretty decent. But your idea sounds neat anyway.
I kind of like the idea of a stationary, high output weaponskit with longer recharge and casttimes. A bit like an elite grenadepack so to speak. Something like this:
1. Iron Pellets
Shower a large area with pellets, crippling and breaking the armor of your foes.
2. Bunkerbuster
Fire a highly explosive shell at the target location, dealing concentrated damage and knocking down hit targets.
3. Decontamination Bomb
Create a healing oasis at the target location removing all conditions on impact and more with each pulse.
4. Snapfreeze Bomb
Create a large freezing field at the target location.
5. Deploy Protective Shield
Creates a Shield at the target location blocking all missiles and granting allies improved armor.
With 30-180 sec CD per Skill and 1-3 sec casttimes this would neither be overusable nor all to overpowered, but reliable and not too stationary.
