I originally posted it on day 3 but no response. It is now day 4. I was wrongfully banned for “botting” but I have never used any third party program or did any exploits. Please unban my account as soon as possible.

Dear Gaile Gray and support staff of A-net,

I have been banned for 3 days so far because I have been wrongfully accused of botting according to the error message that popped up after being kicked out of the game. I do understand your intent to make the game better, safe, and fair for everyone by keeping botters, exploiters, etc out of our gaming community and I think that is a necessary element in the success of guild wars 2 in the long run.

However you have banned me by either accident or some error related to your end. Please look into my account issue which I have already sent a report of, 3 days ago.

I got banned a few days ago with a message saying that they thought I was a bot, and it is really a shock since I have never done anything wrong in the game and most certainly no cheating, exploits, or botting. I already sent in a ticket right after I was kicked out during the Plinx event in Cursed Shore. I understand A-net’s objective to keep the game fair and secure for everyone by banning “real” bots but to mistakenly ban players who are just enjoying the game fair and square disturbs me greatly. I still love the game… but I sincerely request that the bot detection system be modified to prevent this error of banning innocent players like myself and many others who were affected in this mess. Anyway I hope to get a response from support soon and wish all the affected innocent players a speedy response too.

Additional Note: I have well over 2k achievements and I do dailies, WvW, dragon events, and jumping puzzles…. I highly suggest A-net to take a look at our activity log in greater detail and that might help in distinguishing between botters and actual players.
