Bump, trying to make progress on HOPE as well.
Anyone know where to find the treasure shroom for Glint’s Bastion collection? Been having a rough time keeping track of where they spawn and which collection they go towards.
Second, we’ve found a very sneaky bug in the way we distribute players across the two teams. The goal of the system is to ping-pong back and forth between red and blue team to evenly distribute player skill. In reality, the bug caused the highest rated player between the two teams to usually be teamed with mostly lower skilled players. For matches with high skill spread, this could result in one player feeling like they were matched with a surprisingly low-skilled team. This was hard to notice because matchmaking was always picking ten similarly skilled players to start with, so the problem only really presents in the high and low MMR brackets where there are fewer players to choose from.
Good grief, that explains so much… Thank you for the work. I’m glad matchmaking is being worked on.

here’s some other changes that happened today.note: There was a bit of feedback that the auto-attack wasn’t up to snuff. We took a look today and decided that it was quite the case, being that damage on this weapon set is more localized onto the auto-attack.
Staff Strike: Increased damage by 5%.
Staff Bash: Increased damage by 18%.
Punishing Strikes: Increased damage by 20% per attack. Added a missile reflect skill fact.
Hook Strike: Increased damage by ~250%. note: The damage is still on the lower side for the weapon, but now deals more than practically zero. This ability is intended to set up high damage combos through crowd control, thus we’re trying to keep the damage lower than other from-stealth abilities.Weakening Charge: This ability is now targeted, with the animation being cleaned up a bit. Distance traveled is slightly less, to increase the ease of landing multiple hits on a target. Reduced aftercast slightly (120ms).
Debilitating Arc: Included an evade fact. This ability continues to evade from the start of the ability.
Impaling Lotus: Removed the hidden initiative cost.

I’m not sure if it’s not clear enough or not but what all daredevil players really want above all else is appropriate animations! The attack animations are not befitting what this class should be at all, and the dodges are mechanically clunky.
I believe it’s being caused by utility primer. My friend is going through the same thing. He’s also got the utility primer buff on.
ArenaNet, if you had some sort of testing grounds, this could of all been avoided.
Colin you need to revert the changes to leveling you introduced in to this game. They do not solve the issues new players have, they insult the veteran players, and were not thoroughly tested and properly implemented.
