Rofl. So I crash out of Dragon’s Stand during the last event, but “luckily” I get back in after 10 minutes, just to crash out again a minute later – unable to get “lucky” and get in a second time. No problem, I’ll just spend another 2 hours doing the entire event over again so I can get to the vendor at the end. Just kidding. What I meant to say was I’ll do the entire event again, just to crash in the middle of the last boss fight again, unable to rejoin my original map, again. Thanks for that.
I crash during the Dragon’s Stand event probably 90% of the time. I don’t think I’ve completed the meta event in Auric Basin ONCE without crashing at some point during it. These two zones/events are, at least for me, much worse than the other two. I have crashed in the other two, just not nearly as often as the almost 100% chance DC rate I have in DS/AB.
The constant crashes are annoying. The fact that you are almost always unable to rejoin the map you were previously on after a crash is annoying. These two things, separately, are bad enough, but together it just makes trying to do meta events an absolute nightmare.
There needs to be a MUCH higher priority on either implementing a fix for the crashes, or implementing map-protection for ~1-3 minutes. It’s so frustrating to crash and be back in the game within 30 seconds just to find that the map is full and I can’t rejoin the people I was playing with.
Not to mention the fact that the crashes, while they do happen randomly sometimes, usually happen during the huge meta events that people actually want to complete. There are very few things worse than spending an hour and a half in Dragon’s Stand just to have your game crash… and then reload into a new map with zero progress, trying to join your friend for the next 10 minutes. At which point they kill the boss without you.
The icing on the cake is, not only do you lose out on the XP, loot bags, etc, you also lose out on the ability to access the areas unlocked after the event is completed (usually). Both of these maps have timed rewards (chests below in AB, and the vendor and map exploration opportunity in DS), so even after the event ends the maps stay full until the timers are over.
Please change SOMETHING to make this a better experience. The expansion is great, but the crashes are ruining it.
They just need a temp reserve system. your character “stays” on the map for 3-5 minutes until it A goes to another server B log into another character. That way if you DC you get all your rewards AND get back on the map.
I shouldn’t have to join a party and spam join server for 15 minutes hopeing to get back into a meta server i played on for an hour and a half and d/ced because of w/e new “fatal error crap” they launched with the expo. Never once had an issue before this expansion…

I’ve gotten gold on most, including Sanctum Scramble (just requires lots of optimal uses of all of the abilities. something a lot of people don’t know is that you can use the speed boost while gliding.), however I’m with you in that I cannot figure out how to get the 25 required for gold on The Floor is Lava.
I’m sure there is a perfectly optimized path that ends with you just barely getting the 25th. I’m all for difficult adventures, but it seems a little silly to be tuned so tightly that getting gold means absolutely perfect timing and pathing. I feel like gold should be ~20, or even 22, and then getting any more than that just get you higher on the leaderboards.
