Really? You only have to pay a modest fee for this game up front to access the whole game other than a few select “fluff” items that are completely optional and you have lost respect for the company!? Edit: And you can even pay for the optional stuff with in game gold!!!

I think what ArenaNet is doing is fantastic, far better than any other MMO’s I have played going back to EQ1.

PS, if you’re leaving, can I have your stuff?

I must be missing something. I have 55% boon duration bonus but “Retreat” only gives me 31 seconds swiftness on a 48 second cooldown… is this right? How do I reach perma swiftness?

Edit: Ahhh, I wasn’t running “Save Yourselves” at the moment, had assumed this was going to boost “Retreat” enough but obviously not.

I find it hard to play any race other than human. I’ve tried the other races but they just don’t do it for me. However, I would typically play an elf of some form in other games so I expect would do the same if they were in GW2… so plus one for Elves!

Agreed, please return the preview feature! And add it to the trading post while your at it!

There are clipping issues and the like anyway, especially with weapons. This was a really handy feature, please add it back (along with adding preview to the trading post). Thank you.

I’ve made the mistake of reading other MMO forums too often and although I was enjoying the games, the general negativity of postings began rubbing off and really started to hamper my enjoyment.

I purposely look at this forum pretty rarely and when I do, I try to avoid all the negativity, complaining, doom and gloom stuff. I’m enjoying this game, the first MMO I can really say that about since the original EQ and DAoC (and a little bit of AO).

Please don’t make the mistake of thinking much of the prevailing issues and opinions on this forum are representative of the thoughts of others that don’t frequent or post on it often, if at all.

Same issue – can we get an option to NOT show the weapons (daggers/pistols) holstered as an interim solution – or permanent solution if this won’t be fixed? It really is not a good look…
