Guild Wars 2

I use feedback null field and the third keeps changing its either portal or mirror images with either elite( MI or TW). I don’t use blink since i have mesmer phase retreat since i am a staff mesmer mostly. so when roaming in a group in wvw i’m still slow but at least i have staff #2 to help me get away when need be.

i have the same issue but in dungeons i do actually run my guardian mostly except in CoF everywhere else its my guardian but i do have a ranger ele and a warrior that i rarely touch because i would rather be on my mesmer. I’m also making an engineer at this time but i keep running back to mesmer cause i love the class so much! not saying these are my hours its a rough estimate but about 1800 hours was played on my mesmer.. overall it is like 2200 hours.. >.>;

Tbh to help with it if you go to your option and set up the look behind you key and set down a portal while running use that key and once the names starts to fade away then portal again and it should not break. For timer you don’t really need if your using this for WvW use the WvW timer up top. Once you start using portal like that sooner or later you’ll get the feeling of it i can easily pin point where to end even without looking back by looking at the mini map.The only thing i would like is if they could put a portal indicator on the mini map at least for the first portal.

the thing is when is vertical range an issue? and there is a limit cause someone i knew jumped off garrison hit a point in water and broke portal

To be honest not having one doesn’t bother me and probably plenty of mesmers out there ever sense i learned a trick to it i haven’t failed a portal. It would be nice though to have an icon on mini map for where we place our first portal however if we can at least get that that would be great.

and as for timer if you are in wvw use the timer up top. as for pve well… i don’t see when you would have to wait till the absolute last second to put down the 2nd portal i rarely use portal in pve and when i do i don’t need anywhere close to the 60 seconds.

i went for Bifrost and currently have it i love staff on mesmer

well first off confusion doesn’t proc on all dodge traits so its not even dodging A friend and i was testing a tad bit last night… It does not proc on guardians dodge, mesmer’s dodge or thief’s dodge and i am still trying out some i heard it doesn’t effect water/air dodge on ele but it does on fire and earth. It seems like only those dodge that actually hurt peeps that it does proc(warriors dodge trait which ill be testing still) and i am still testing with rangers and other classes. i don’t know why it procs on heal though to be honest .

2. IF YOU WANT TO KILL A GLAMOUR MES IN WVW:
In all honesty another way to get rid of the mesmer that is feedback-ing all over the place Thieves go get your bow out ( i think its the bow) there is a skill on their brings you to them if you use it on the feed back it will bring THEM to YOU.. same with Necromancers (dark path was it?) and w/e other class that i can not think of then if u can get them in the zerg boom their dead.

3. the only mesmer who can actually do dmg in terms of confusion waste their whole build on purely confusion glamour. They are like glass cannons(even if they build for rabid they still die to thieves backstab and warriors easily along with other berserker mesmers) yet glass cannons have constant dmg where as the confusion is there for a few seconds then poofs and its not hard to see the swirly purple stuff over your head and no when to retreat. their cooldowns are also what 40 seconds without traits otherwise 32/35 seconds with it traited? thats a long cooldown when theres a whole zerg outside your gate and not all mesmers are coordinated and you’ll see 2-3 popping the feedback at once(lasting 10 secs maybe) and after what 3-5 secs your confusion is gone . Stay off of portals/veils don’t be an idiot running over them stop being an idiot attacking gates going in and out of their feedback/null field multiple times if you see a feedback and then purple swirly marks over your head stop for a second unless your a thief/necro or w/e use the pull w/e you have to do to drag them to u on feedback… heal up! ur not the one being focused 100% unless your miles ahead of your zerg. glamours stack like 2 confusions when you leave or exit fields… all you do if your in feedback leave field instantly.. yes u get 2 stacks.. thats it maybe 4 maybe even 6 if your stupid enough to walk in and out of multiple glamour fields( so to get 20+ stacks you have to walk in and out of their fields 10+ times). if you stay in you have rangers and warriors with rifles/bows whatever other class having a chance to proc even more confusion on you than what u get when leaving a field or 3. The shatters there is only one that cause confusion(30 secs cd) unless traited for, and even then it doesn’t last long and the shatters have 15-40 second cooldowns and usually they die in 1 hit so they don’t even touch peeps to cause the confusion… I never die to confusion if anything its the actual attacks. its not mesmers fault if you guys are the one going in and out of mesmer’s fields carelessly attacking (mostly the gate cause that is what zergs do) killing yourself. or even in open fields. go around feedback and heal up, use your boons,kite for 3-5 secs and go back at it if your manage to step in and out of a glamour field getting those 2 stacks. its not hard to see a swirly purple mark above your head compared to the little red numbers. otherwise if mesmer have the scepter they have to be in 900 range( which is close since glamour mesmers usually don’t carry blink only all glamours so you can gap close and kill them)>.> to get you which is 5 on top of that which last what? 5 secs?.. pay attention to your surroundings.

are you sure its gw2 and not gw? i never played gw so i wouldnt be able to tell you :x

yes each trait line goes 5-10-15-20-25-30 so you need 5 each time to go further into the trait line

do you have a minimum of 5 trait points? i don’t think you even have 5 traits points at the moment to put into the trait line yet :o wait and see when you have 5 trait points to put in and try it then

I dont know if it really had been reported recently i saw one back in nov/dec time frame but..

I noticed earlier today while i did fractal 36 that my AR bugged. I tend to switch between two types of gear berserker or my tanky condition depending on my party. Well my AR, I noticed bugged when I tried switching my accessories originally I have 35 AR( 2 infused rings with infusions 1 Necklace, 1 Back Piece and 1 Earring for my condition build) then it went to 25 when i switch to berserker accessories when i still should have had 35 (besides the necklace and earring to keep the extra 10 AR to = 35) i had to totally re-log out of fractals to change my accessories and log back in to get it back to normal then i tried it again and then my AR went to 0 AR with everything still equipped that should equal up to 35 agony resist and 0 AR in a level 36 fractal hurts.

i run full zerker in cof and never die if the mesmer dies in p1 they are doing it wrong… you are just talking about farmable path 1? either way im in class at the moment ill either update or pm later … well in like an hr

Its not just CoF that can be just mesmer and warriors Our group has managed to do every dungeon but arah with that group. If you want CoF find your own group of CoF you should have peeps you know by now that you can drag with and be like hey lets do it! There’s probably people who think just like you who still wants it but does not have the warrior or mesmer class for CoF. It is not just CoF either… soon just wait there’ll be speed of other runs people just want to get it done and be out. One is already in the making that of course is not CoF and Ele could easily take part in that dungeon that is in the making or guardian and it’ll still be a speed run.

That would be nice but for the mean time(if they do decide to implement that) you could also end up having one person typing out in guild chat(unless your a guild chat type of guild) or having guild menu down way far in the corner of your screen. That way you can just move it to see the names and put it back down to where it wont block your mini map(<- thats what i tend to do).

Actually i believe it is doable doing t3 without pre-scouting with 30 people(5 person per map gives them 15 minutes to search and kill and if someone kills before one person can find/kill theirs then they can help that team if they have a tougher bounty). Our guild does pre-scout but a lot of times we will find about half of the bounties within 5 min of searching. It is not hard(well sotzz is an issue but meh) when we have everyone searching at once we can usually find all of them within 10min unless a guild ends up killing the bounty thats when it will take longer.. this is not including sotzz. Like some people I tend to look an hr before bounty starts for sotzz since he is stationary. Also tier 3 is even possible with 13-18 people. Our guild have done tier 3 with 18 people the other day 13 with coordination it is possible.

I love love love mesmer

When i first started the game a month after it came out i was deciding between guardian and mesmer( cause in alot of other games i was healer/support but then in some there is a “bard” class which is kind of support but also offensive). I chose mesmer cause i never seen a class like that before and i always liked those type of classes when i play them so i lvled both to level 45 till i realized i loved mesmer more especially in WvW.. then i started wanting to head to condition and everyone told me not to berserker is the way to go or w/e but i didn’t listen as long as im having fun i dont care(and if you have friends to play with constantly they most likely wont ditch you).. i still love my mesmer she is condition staff and i keep tweaking her with her 2nd set and with her traits just cause i can :P went from sword/focus/pistol to sword/focus/torch to scepter/focus/torch etc … anyways ya im glad you like mesmer should definetly try condition at one point of time should wait like someone said when your a higher level i started doing condition once i hit 80 actually and i do PvE and WvW and some sPvP. Kept pretty much use the same build i use for PvE in WvW and sPvP.

aw you beat me to it i was about to say that easymode it is mostly mesmers + a few other classes for test subjects! lol messing but there is a few very few non mesmers for if we need help with certain things there is about 60 mesmers on per day atleast when i am on and i am eastern time but we have like 150+ in guild but we all have our own guilds we come together for wvw though and events and training…yes training
