sorry to say that, even after you took your time to give me this suggestion, but im not going to format, it takes me too much time.
Honestly i don’t know if its a conflict, but probably is from what i heard around the web.
At first it was a 50/50 chance that the game decided to get stuck in a “flashing” black screen during the load of the character selection after launcher started the game, making this problem just annoying.
Now its even worse, it get stuck so often that i have to reset at least 3-4 my pc and pray for the game to start normally.
Even during this flashing, opening the task manager is impossible, ’cause the moment it opens it get overlapped by this black screen, getting impossible to be closed from there, even if a couple of times i was able, for pure luck, to close it, but even in those times the pc went kind of crazy.
Probably this is a conflict with a program, as i’ve seen around the web, but till the patch before the Lost Shores i never had this problem, so i don’t really know what is happening.
In short, i need help, ’cause now this situation is a pain.
I’ve got a similar problem.
After the last patch i have a 50/50 chance that i get black screen with the white stripe on top that keep loading and making me impossible to close the game through task manager or doing anything at all, so im forced to reboot.
Got exactly the same problem but my internet provider is Wind Infostrada .
If i try to log i get kicked out and then stuck on loading screen .
Looks like it is our providers problem and not a game one .if it’s a problem regarding Italy, i think aNet should give us some help.
It’s a bit strange if ALL PROVIDERS start giving problem all at once.
if it was only fastweb, we could have thought it was due to the dynamic IP stuff, but since it’s happening with other providers too, i think it’s something worse.
Maybe it will fixed soon, but if it isn’t, then there’s indeed a problem up here in Italy.
The biggest problem to me will be try to explain the situation to the random guy answering me from a call center having zero clue on what he is doing .
The scary truth of call centers, no one knows a kitten about what is happening.
i checked another game forum and found by chance that a lot of people with fastweb are having problems of latency and connection, seems like we all have a provider issue, not a game one.
Fastweb too, but the problem started only 3 hours ago, so i though to wait a couple of hours before trying again, same problem.
What happened?
