Had another excellent round of fight club last night with all 3 wvw servers at once! Was tons of fun, big thanks to NSP and Maguuma for all the cooperation and understanding. Made for a great night!
I’m glad to see there are people that know there’s more to the game than killing everything you see and spamming /sit on them
It was definitely a different kind of fun that i thought would be impossible to organize cross-server without it breaking into pure chaos. We’ll hopefully have a youtube vid up of it, or at least a few screenies to share for those of you that couldn’t make it.
Big thanks to Littlefeather of Rethesis [RE] for bringing us all together.

Props to Darkhaven for trying new and interesting siege placement. Might have caused problems if it had built all the way…
Aaaand you guys were so concentrated on trying to take east keep that we took west keep with like 10 people.
Tarnishing a ton of fun with dirt flinging ;(
Seriously though, you guuma guys had a great defense. Easily the most epic siege i’ve ever been a part of. You made us work tooth and nail for every inch, and i loved it Can’t really priase you enough on your efforts!
Sincerly,
That annoying asuran Rethesis mesmer
I agree about the rendering issues, aside from that i can’t see the problem with the skill itself. Using it to ‘stealth’ a large group could be considered an exploit, but that’s due to the rendering issues, not the skill. You might as well remove thieves all together if you wanna get rid of skills that cause rendering issues.
The argument about how the majority of the time in WvW is hunting mesmers out of a base is silly. there’s only so many places they can hide, once you figure them out, it’ll take 2 mins tops to check all the places, maybe less with a handful of ppl doing it.
As mentioned, teleporting people around is basically what it’s designed for. You can’t blame the Mesmers for using it to help their team. The skill is fine, people just haven’t figured out how to work around it. Not the fault of the mesmer
That attack delay has nothing to do with recent fixes, I’m afraid. Absence of 5-point inspiration minor trait “Vengeful Images” cause this and after quick test looks like anet haven’t fixed it yet.
Interesting. I don’t usually play with that trait point, and didn’t have the delay. I did however play with my spec just before the reset, so i tested it out in the mists. I took out all my trait points and checked them on the way up through the trees. so far i found that :
I normally had the 10 point dueling trait to give your phantasms fury. I swapped that back in and it took the delay away.
I tried with the 5 point inspiration triat to give them retaliation, and that took the delay away.
I tried virtually any other trait combo and point allocation and none of the others took the delay away.
Soooo… It seems that unless your phantasms have any sort of buff, they’re scared to run in need to give our phantasms some balls.
Previously they started their first attack as soon as they were summoned. I noticed after tonight’s patch notes that my Phantasms were slower to attack when i summoned them. It seems most noticable with my Phantasmal Beserker. he just stands there for a full second before slicing through people
The others seem slightly slower too, but not as bad as my zerker. i’ve lost several of them in the past couple hours before they got an attack off, which was rarely the case in my previous 500+ hours of mesmer’ing ~_~
Anyone else have this problem? or am i just unfortunately special? Wasn’t sure since i didn’t see any other posts about it. Wanted to get a 2nd oppinion before i complain about it in a bug report
