Hello! I actually saw your thread and really wanted to join, but the world you guys are on is always full!
GW2 works on a multiserver outside of World Versus World, so while most of us are on Blackgate from when the game first came out, a bunch of members are on different servers in NA and can play together just fine. Again, that’s outside WvW, but if you’re a casual player and not looking for competitive play then server shouldn’t matter much! You’re also welcome to join a Northern Shiverpeaks WvW guild if you find one as you can be in 5 guilds at the same time now!

Hello! I’m brand new to the game, and trying to find a nice guild to make some friends in. I am hoping to find a group that’s very chatty and sociable. I’m interested in playing GW2 primarily for socialization and relaxation. I am a bit of a casual player – I am more than willing to put the time in, and learn mechanics for dungeons and such, but I’ve never been a hardcore min-maxing number cruncher, and I’m not particularly good at PvP, so I’m looking for a group that treats these activities as relaxation instead of competition (definitely not judging the more competitive groups out there, just saying I’m probably not what you’re looking for).
I spend an inordinate amount of time in every MMO trying to make my character look excellent. I love engineer characters, so I’ll be playing a more support-oriented engineer in GW2. I’m trying to think what else to put here… I’m EST, and play primarily on Friday through Sunday – I have a weird work schedule so I don’t have much time earlier in the week.
