Or… What if projectiles that hit the wall hurt enemies on the other side instead of you and your allies?

Genius!

I hope they nerf the hell out of thief ....

I just had to pop in here to say something.

The build I run on my thief is, in my opinion, quite unique. It relies on fairly high defenses (vitality and toughness combined with extra stealth) as well as a fair amount of power and condition damage. My playstyle as a D/D thief is to constantly pop in and out of stealth making use of backstab and leaping death blossom to slowly wear any enemy down.

I don’t go glass cannon, I don’t use basilisk venom, I don’t use devourer venom, and I never use the steal > Cloak and Dagger “cheap shot” that glass cannon builds are notorious for.

D/D thieves have had an extremely bad name because of ONE build killing people. ONE. I hear stories of backstabs that hit for 10k; mine hit for 2-4k depending on my enemy’s build. Not all of us are using this build, but the nerfs people suggest will kill not only the troublesome build, but also mine and many others.

Nerf us more. do it!

I’m also playing thief and warrior and thief is soo much stronger than warrior atm. Yes, in a fair 1v1 a good warrior can actually win against a thief. However, in teamfights thieves completely dominate over warriors. Warriors get completely wrecked by conditions, stuns and dazes.

But thieves are susceptible to all of these as well, as are all the other classes.

This is so true, it’s not even funny. And so many warrs complain about thieves.

Playing both a warrior and thief, I must say, the thief is a lot more powerful. A warrior, when fully geared towards bursting damage, has one trick up their sleeves every minute or so. That trick is easy to dodge, or when caught, you just need a single stun breaker (remember to keep one against a warrior). The thief, on the other hand, can just recover using stealth and try his one-shot-kill move again.. and again.. and again. Until you succeed, or give up and walk away (in case of bunker Guardians and Elementalists).

Wait, wait, wait a minute!

What’s the difference between this and backstab thieves? Their 1-trick-pony combo has a 45 sec. CD.
