For some time now, Eredon Terrace has been stuck at the bottom of the leaderboards. Unfortunately, this does not reflect the heart, skill and passion that our players have. Week by week we get stomped by other servers because the fact is ALL the other servers have a significant size advantage over us. This topic will be a bit lengthy compared to other topics but please read the whole thing so that I can get a chance to inject you with the facts about this wonderful server. Here are some great reasons why you should transfer to this server and help us leave the bottom of the leaderboards and rise up again.
Queue times: The first reasons that might catch all your attention is that at the moment of writing this, the wait times to get into our WvW action is almost always non-existent. The truth is we barely fill up our own borderland after the resets on Friday. Our lack of active members prevents us from being any kind of threat in EB or other borderlands besides at our rush hour. If you are a person (or guild) that has trouble sticking together with your allies in WvW because of the wait times, then Eredon Terrace is the place for you. Until we get the increase in population that we desperately need, there will be virtually no queues to get into the action.
Player Skill: This is not only my opinion but it is an opinion that I share with others both from this server and others. Eredon Terrace players are overall highly skilled individuals. This is most likely due to the fact that we can rarely get an evenly matched battle. Numerous time we have held down points or won battles against a group of opponents that was larger than ours.
Need Commanders: If you are a commander in a large server that doesn’t get the appreciation that you think you deserve, then Eredon Terrace also has something to offer for you. We have some popular commanders on our server, but there are too many instances where we lose everything we have in WvW because there is no commander to keep people organized. Every person counts…. but more commanders during those down times could really make a difference in this server’s overall ranking.
Make a difference: For those of you that are comfortable in your top tier server, think about how much of a hole you will put if you leave your server. Now think about the difference you can make if you join our server that needs people. The difference that you can provide is larger for us than the hole you will leave in your large servers. Do you really feel like you are appreciated in your server? I believe many of you feel like a 3rd string quarterback (benchwarmer) who got a Superbowl ring but don’t feel proud because you know you barely contributed. Over here at ET you would be part of our A-team because everybody here counts.
So for all of you who want more of a challenge, come to ET. All of our people are friendly and accepting to new people. It would be a brave act to come down here but brave is what the players of ET must be every day.
