I don’t personally get issues, but my girlfriend does.
We’re both on EU servers, and we’ve tried connecting from different computers as well as resetting ip/dns options.
My account works from both computers, hers work on neither and provides the same error code each time. It seems to have nothing to do with connectivity as per the point above. If it were DNS or routing issues we’d probably have the same issues on at least one of the computers.
A qualified guess could be it’s account-related and possibly due to outage in (parts of?) a (clustered/distributed?) login setup. Though I guess for that sort of thing to persist like this, it’d need to be statically routed by account, and not by IP.
